One of the most fun games I've ever played. Simple as =]

For the Emperor! Amazing game. Optimization and objective based horde mode would make this a 10/10

This is a golden indie title right here. Beautiful map, fun gameplay. Vibe of the early 2000s NFS games, which is incredible. Though, a bit of grind too, so keep that in mind. I've been playing ever since the game first came out, when the economy was s***. Now, it feels fair, and you can actually earn enough money to get new cars and fully upgrade them. Plenty of stuff to do and discover -- you will realize that the car customization is very in-depth, and you can tune the car to completely change the characteristics of it compared to stock, whether you build a drift machine or a track monster; you will be able to tell the difference with each mod and each fine tune. It is also quite fun to drive in, which I would say is definitely the most important thing! If I can provide a criticism, I wish the racing chapters featured in the game felt more unique and fleshed out, as it is not quite like the vibe of NFS Underground with underground racing factions vying for power. Everyone feels almost the same, just with different titles and colors to the racing chapters and different vehicles to race against. When you face a boss, they open up with a cutscene with flare like the NFS Most Wanted blacklist cutscenes, but without any of the characterization. It just feels like another random person to beat, so. I hope this gets fleshed out in the future, as the racing clubs feel quite bland at the moment and leaves too much to the imagination. Also, the soundtrack could definitely use some intensity when you race, and could use with, perhaps, some unique soundtracks depending on which club you are racing -- this will certainly enhance the experience. Despite where it lacks, the game really feels like a homage to tuner culture racing games, and they nailed the vibe. This game has what the modern NFS has been missing for years, and as the package that it presents itself as now, I love it for what it is

Honestly, this has to be one of my favorite Warhammer 40,000 games I have ever played, and that is coming from someone who doesn't typically play strategy games. The game is captivating and engaging to play. The dialogue and story is well written, and it really immerses you in the 40k universe. Definitely give it a shot -- the more you engage with the game, the more it will deliver. Not to mention, after my first playthrough, I noticed there is so much more I have yet to discover. It is more than worth it :)

I can't help but miss the tactical cyberpunk atmosphere of this game. It's unique -- I fully believe that the style of this game is far better executed than in its sequel, Blacklight: Retribution. The two factions, Blacklight and The Order, though simple speaks for itself. Maps are war-torn and feel lived in. Sure, it is an old game. It is far from perfect. However, this is where it started for the Blacklight video game series. There will never be a game like Blacklight: Tango Down again. Hopefully Retribution will not be the last we see of this franchise.
