It's actually weirdly stressful & intense! I expected a game I could space out on before bed... but it's surprisingly high pressure: you have to manage 3 different resources that are constantly draining, like a timer. If they reach zero you lose shortly thereafter.

You have to match 5 different tiles, 4 have to do with resources, the 5th is a currency that you use to buy bombs--the main way to get rid of clutter of leftover pieces on the board. So you're trying to clear space for the awkward shapes it starts throwing at you, while dealing with three different timers and managing a currency. It's way more engaging of a puzzle game than I wanted, but if you're into that, very cool.

Imagine a world where you never have to read another review recycling the tired joke about their penis size and status with women and how miserable they are.

Fantastic remake. Swimming in lovely nostalgia. There's almost no music, but then when there is, it's SO good. And because the music is rare, it just hits that much harder.

I'm still salty I paid full price because it was day 1 on xbox game pass--but the game is steadily improving! The middle difficulty was an unreasonable jump in difficulty from the easy difficulty and that has changed. QoL changes coming, I'm feeling more optimistic about it. I think the left 4 dead hype really hurt the game, but it's a fun ass standalone pve coop shooter, and that's hard to find

this ♥♥♥♥ rocks. I can't believe I left it on my wishlist for so long. Do you play a comp game with queue times that feel just long enough to be annoying? Tired of dragging your mental health down browsing social media during that time? Match 3, but like... engaging actually. I actually tried to 'try it out' for a minute last night at 3am and I played for like 2 hours. Love this.

Absolutely loving it. I'm a big deckbuilder fan (slay the spire, monster train, nowhere prophet) and I love Klei's games. Great gameplay with a lot of depth, there's a secondary kind of battle called negotiating which is quite unique.

I love the story, writing, humor. There's systematic oppression, alcoholism (the drunk character is fun as hell), bougie conspiracies, different races, cliques, agendas... The characters all HAVE character, and dialogue feels real.

Oh, and choices matter! You can build a like/love dislike/hate relationship with tons of different characters and it affects you in various ways. I find myself actually being like "man I can't do that to them... I got you fam"

can't do combos in other games? you can just hit dust and then press one button a couple times and do 50% its relaxing

literally one of the best video games ever made. It's like if the best sports game ever was made for people who don't like sports or sports games. And then it's probably pretty tight if you do like sports.

this game used to suck way back when and now it don't
