It would be nice to see a comparison/contrast of the 2 games. Of course, that's like asking for a comparison/contrast of 2 gigantic masterpieces, as they are both very detailed I'm sure. Its a shame, what 2k/firaxis is doing. They create a huge hype train for their new game Beyond Earth, and forbid people from showing footage of the game past turn 100.

And now we know why, those slick bastards didn't want us to see the game starting to degrade, bugs poping up everywhere, weak wonders, boring and repative mid/late gameplay, teditious trade routes, and etc. They basicly hid all the flaws from us while creating such hype, and ignorant people wonder why so many fans are mad at Firaxis.

KP - It's because I was playing it on my laptop a lot there for a bit. Wasn't online, which is STOOPID that it won't record achievements.

Honestly, if you're on a schedule that's short on time then EVE is a fantastic game. I really like how I can still advance my character's training even if I'm not online. It's really hands off but most of the content within the game is user generated. I'd say it's worth a try, they offer some really nice trial packages
