Classic game design really makes itself apparent, especially with the dungeons and boss fights. This is definitely not a casual experience but it is all the better for it.

I remember staying up all night playing the CD version as a kid and the narrator bluntly stated that I should go to bed.

Perfect little game, unlike most hard games out there, the difficulty manages to be incredibly fun. Not to mention the superb level of atmosphere despite the basic visuals. 10/10
