I absolutely LOVE this game. I grew up with the original Playstation and the Twisted Metal Series and have loved car combat games ever since. This game has a beautiful aesthetic and was so worth waiting for. Thank you LWMedia! Everything is very well done and I've been really enjoying it. So far I have 96 minutes on it and I played it for the first time on my Twitch stream yesterday. The only issue I had was my brain for some reason fell into ps1 mode and I didn't comprehend that I shoot behind and beside me like that of ps2 games. (That's how convincing this is) Even down to the UI is just beautiful. Below is the timestamped vod of me playing it. You can jump forward to when I finally figured out what I was doing for the Gregory fight at 2:58:36 if you want to skip me getting used to the game. I'd also like to note that the variation in game modes reminds me of WWE Crush Hour on PS2 (I mean this is the best way possible to represent variety and fun since most people didn't like that game but I did)

I absolutely love this game. I've played CMS 2014, '15 , and '18. This is a perfect sequel to 2018. It's beautiful and It has a way more open feeling as you now have an actual property to walk around and upgrade. You can do basic fluid changes and even timing on cars outside in the sunshine if you want and when you have to go inside there's a door animation and its quick and seamless so you really feel like you are passing through instead of a loading screen. I actually haven't encountered any bugs yet. They added so many cars that I wanted to be in this series like the GMC vandura/Chevy G Series van, '77 Cadillac Deville, and 92-95 EG Honda Civic. I also really admire how supporting and observant the dev has been upon release. Thank you. They also have a sandbox mode now so if you don't want to do the long grind up to the upgrades you can just play around and have fun. I did see people have bugs in discussions but the dev is actively fixing the issues others have had. I can't say I've experienced any. I'm running the game in 4k res with this machine: Windows 10 Pro, 16GB of ddr4 ram, Ryzen 5 3600 6 core cpu, Sapphire Branded Radeon RX 590, Game is running on a conventional Hard disc drive not an ssd.

This game is nice but is executed very bad. The "free" mode is like a demo due to the severe limitations of xp needed to unlock new guns. The first day they give you a free booster which is worth like 5 real dollars. You get used to unlocking things normally and playing a challenging game. The next day when you are doing the same things over and over again trying to grind xp to unlock more you get less and less until you are only getting 20 xp for doing a full disassembly/ assembly of a weapon on a timer with no mistakes. The xp curve wasn't so bad a year ago. Forgot to mention how my progress and unlocked guns disappeared when I got back on this last week. Thanks world of guns. To make things worse I found the guns I had previously unlocked are now pay only. That's right not all guns can be unlocked with home ground xp. Now you have to use credits that you get with real money to unlock the cool stuff you want to play with. Everything turns to real money and even when I went to vote on the next gun they should develop for their game it takes XP or credits to even VOTE! If you like this game and want to enjoy it, rather than hate a specific gun because you are stuck grinding on it, buy the full access pass for 50 dollars and get it over with. I don't know what's up but the devs are greedy enough to take the model that were free at one point and make them pay onlys. I would classify this as a pay to play until the system is fixed or until they just stick a price tag on it and once again delete all previous progress. If I had 50 dollars to buy this I would go buy a real used and cheapy handgun such as the clunky J22 or a Rohm to take apart instead or buy Elite Dangerous Horizons to take up my time.
