I was done with this game when a zombie threw a molotov cocktail at me.

You can't adjust the honor pool when playing online which sucks. The game is too short and doesn't support combos otherwise.

It isn't the prettiest graphics wise, but it is a very robust game with more options than I've seen in any comparable game.

The game is pretty great, the gameplay is fun and interesting especially fighting the larger robots destroying parts off of the robots then using those as weapons, or to make ammo for other weapons. The story is the real reason to play through the game. It is one of the best I have seen in ages, and is the first game in a while that made me want to go through the entire main story leaving side quests incomplete.

This is a fit for someone who really likes the travel portion of games and long stretches of emptiness broken up by sections of sneaking away from things that can't touch you. I am apparently not that person. I look forward to the next game Kojima makes and hope it uses an EXTREMELY different formula.

It took a LONG time, but the game is actually worth playing now. It takes more of what felt right from the Endless series and fixed several of the bugs that were present. The war score/war support system has also improved from launch and don't end up with consistent endless wars despite occupying cities and destroying enemy armies left and right.

I don't think this ended up being the Civ Killer it was expected to be but it is no longer a broken mess. The balance seems heavily skewed to production civs above the others, but that often feels like the meta in many 4x games.
