Mordhau is a great melee combat game that does a good job at being fun both when you're good and when you're bad at the game. Its greatest strength is the look and feel of its combat, which I think no other melee game does better currently. It does suffer from some balance issues, but mostly fixes the issues with Chivalry's combat whilst still maintaining the spirit of that game. The only notable negative is a lack of quality maps, although the developer does seem invested in adding new maps at no cost.

Overall, if you enjoy games like Chivalry, Mount & Blade and For Honor, you'll probably like Mordhau a lot too.

You'll get shot from hundreds of meters away by an unseen assailant time and time again, but have fun doing it

Plays like a worse, lite Red Orchestra, except instead of other players killing you because they've been playing longer and have more skill, they kill you because they bought armored cars and sniper rifles.
