Great game for relieving stress. Its very difficult starting off and im still struggling to grasp the mechanics to avoid startling wildlife, each kill i get is very satisfying. Ive gone hours and hours without killing a single thing, doubting myself and sometimes im lucky and find a herd and manage to pick off 1 or 2. Honestly ive probably gone 5 hours without killing anything and its frustrating but still great fun as like i say each kill feels very satisfying.
Story mode so far is very good and missions are getting harder and more specific (like take a photo of a wild deer in front of a lake etc) but its part of the learning. Game is one long grind experience but in a very good way. I highly recommend this to anyone even if you arent into the simulator genre it might surprise you.
It gets a solid 10/10 and i hope to put many hours into this.

2 things i want to see in the game
An experience bar so you can see how far you have progressed towards next level rather than saying 9000 exp level 9 etc.
Working hunting club beta, i dont understand how it works but i havent got a single reward or challenge to do.

Whats happened to the game? Used to love playing it but several updates have completely ruined the experience, matchmaking is a joke as i seem to be getting paired against individuals who are insanely high up in the rankings. I am not that good at the game however i know when its completely ridiculous. Have a group of friends i would party up with sometimes and they have said the exact same thing about the interface and experience has turned sour, the price of characters now is ridiculous if i had pushed myself to buy the founders edition to unlock all characters months ago i wouldnt have the issue. All the loadouts i had created and tweaked on a regular basis have been removed so all the time i spent learning the game and finding a mix for my playstyle and helping teammates had been undone and im at the point of giving up on the game.
As you can imagine freetoplay means that there will be plenty of ingame purchases to help you skip character purchase and cosmetics, i can understand the purchases as it helps the developers but the game is no longer fun to play. As i mentioned above the matchmaking system is very random and most times it has been ridiculous i dont mind losing games as long as there is good teamplay (the team i am on), i am the individual who will see what character class is needed frontline/flank/healer etc just to help the team and do the role requirement as best i can however when your teammates are afk or quit the game its hopeless. This is purely because on the loading screen they see what opponents we are facing (insanely high leveled drogoz is one i face regulary), failing that because of how good the players are we get shot off horses (its a very good thing to do to help team take the objective) spawn camped, then when theres only 3 or 4 human controller characters its over in minutes. I wish i had left a review when i first played the game as it was so much fun but in its current state i could not recommend it, matchmaking takes a little longer but depends on time of day so i cant really criticise that. Right now i would give this 3/10 as the ratings purely because its no longer fun to play, the interface feels cluttered. Characters reset and very pricey for new ones to unlock i would have happily gave it a 9/10-10 but when the servers die down and the game goes quiet they might realise.

This is the best arpg i have ever played and i doubt anything will ever come close to it. Highly recommend it!

-The devs have made quality dlc
-The devs release loyalty dlc on the store page and people who play this actually buy it to support the devs (not just for the extras!)
-The insane amount of items available, the different modes, difficulties.

Honestly one of my favourite steam games and im hoping to sink many more hours into it!

Love the base game i am yet to play the dlc i just wanted to show my support and appreciation towards Crate Entertainment for making an amazing game!

Short relaxing game! Stressful life? Feel low?Dont have enough time to sit down and play a game?Want something not too difficult but not too easy?
This is a must have game! Definitely worth a buy, its user friendly so if you have any young children they could play this too!
10/10 as this helped me relax and calm down for the short duration i played.
I will definitely be coming back to attempt the last few achievements

Good little bit of fun

Can i just say this before my opinion? £9.99 is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing deal make the most of the steam sale you will regret not getting it for that price!!!

I brought this game as soon as it came out and loved it (think i paid £39.99 or around that at the time of release), its pretty simple. You shoot, manoveur your way around a level, enjoy some epic music (and i mean the music is top notch smash your head into every key on your keyboard material lol) find a new gun, upgrade any of the weapons in your roster, hunt collectibles/upgrade nodes etc.
The concept is simple yet effective, the game can be challenging even on a low setting but its not a difficult challenge sort of thing. It feels rewarding to actually beat a certain boss or survive a random wave of enemies you encounter. They are still updating the game and adding extra features which i havent even tried out yet :(. Multiplayer is fun and even better with friends. I am using a GTX 680 which is quite outdated but the game is really well optimised and i can have a blast in high settings and enjoy the gore and smooth gameplay.
I honestly give this game a 10/10 its brilliant for a stress release from day to day life or for even a regular playing sort of game because of the multiplayer.
Please just take a chance and trust your instincts on this, this is a game that is truly enjoyable. Even if you play for an hour or two its £10 you could have wasted on something else and instead you can have this masterpiece. One issue for some however might be the amount of space the game takes up but nowadays it can be pretty standard..

I still suck

I have a decent gaming rig that can play most games in high settings (unless its very demanding) and i thought as just cause 3 is absolutely massive i should let recommended settings do the work for me.
Cutscenes were smooth... Looks good so far
Im on the top of a plane with an rpg, small fps drops... Hmm maybe its a lot going on i thought
Get to the point of starting the game in the first driveable vehicle and its laggy as ♥♥♥♥ and the scenery looks like cardboard, it lags around every corner, it lags when i think its going to lag and lags when i think its going to lag some more.
If you want an fps game this is the one for you as you wont be getting many.


hopefully a patch resolves everyones performance issues and please get rid of the silly login request, people buy the game to play it not to sign up for ♥♥♥♥, we should have the option in the menu settings to register or login or whatever rather than be forced to do it upon starting the game.

3/10 game looks promising but till the performance issues are resolved avoid it! Il change my review if my problem is resolved.

I brought the game a few days ago and well what can i say?

The mysterious way this game works so well is the atmosphere it creates and the way you are searching for answers to something you know nothing about. It gets better and better and better, it made me jump many times and i enjoyed the scares as some were simple and some were partially expected but come at you in a way that it still shat you up. I finished it in around 3 hours hoping to solve the mystery which was coming to an amazing finale with me thinking i was putting the pieces together like a jiggsaw and then it ends when i was completely engrossed!! This is a game where a tremendous amount and i mean a tremendous amount of effort and dedication to making one of the best horror games you will play.
As you can see most people finish it in around the 3 hour mark which might sound like its not value for money, but boy it is.
This is a game you can get your friends to play for 10 minutes on your pc if they stop over for the night and watch them ♥♥♥♥ themselves when glass bottles smash in front of you, all i can say is get it!!!

Graphics 10/10
Replayability 8/10 (more if you get someone to play it on your machine for kicks)
Story 10/10 (yes i think this is worthy of saying it has a story, those that are clever enough will add up the pieces)
Atmosphere 10/10
Horror factor 10/10 its not crazy over the top horror but there is plenty of jump scares on offer.

Please support the game and developers by buying this game you wont be disappointed!! It means we get to finish the game! Its freaking awesome!
