I love the Saints Row series and I wish I could feel this awesome playing all my games. :D

This is probably the most relaxing game I have ever played. This is defiantly worth playing if you want to Zen out. Turn on a foreign radio station in game while traveling for a different experience every time.

It's nice knowing I can just boot up this game and relax.

Finished Dead Man's Switch and I really enjoyed myself. I am new to all things Shadowrun and this experience made me very interested in researching some of it's older lore from it's table top stuff.

The idea of building a up character in a main campaign then being able to continue their story with mods like skyrim is just awesome to me.

I must admit the story for Dead Man's Switch was... good and bad. Good being detective story with a few really good plot twists. Bad being how they represent a certain native/american and black man.

Parts of the story felt a bit racially awkward in not just character design but in execution of the way they acted. I get they are going for stereotypes with elves being rich douche bags and Orcs being big and a bit derp but when it extends to magical native/american or black man it just feels wrong. But at the same time this game pushes for racial equality. A Troll in your hub will talk your ear off about it from time to time.

It's like when you watch a popular movie from the 80s or early 90s and they have the overly stereotyped exchange student in an all white cast. It is super cringe worthy and I believe that at the time it wasn't made out of hate but out of ignorance and how different = silly or at least entertaining. It felt lazy and bad. I am not sure how this made it into the final game but there it is.

Why am I recommending this? Well a lot of the first story should have never happened, but the game play is well designed and the combat is fun and challenging. I look forward to playing modded original stories from this engine and I may make content for it.

Also the save system works but is just clunky and bad... and at 80% and in their face how the ♥♥♥♥ do my shots keep missing?!?!? F%@#$%@ing seriously?!?!!!!!

TL;DR
"Dead Man Switch Campaign"'s story includes racist bits that echo early 1980s writing and decision making in media. F##$ it! get it anyway for the Mod community and the game design. PC master race.

World of Tanks in Space. If you like that world of tanks thing you will like this too.

I just started playing and it is pretty cool. The characters and environments are super pretty and the game play is very fluid.

The game feels like it would work really well on a console. (ps4) or in steam Big Picture mode.

The plus side and down side is that it is free to play. You get to enjoy a good game for nothing but if you want anything more than bare bones content you need to buy it and the content prices are a bit high. Just look at the DLC prices... geez. (DEC 2013)

I think if I can get into this game I would be happy to throw some bucks their way to support it. I guess I am a potential investor like all new players.

Update: I recently reinstalled this game after almost 3 years of not playing. They are still updating this game and adding tons of new content. I am enjoying the story missions and it's a great game to play with my gf!
We are having loads of fun and the art is just awesome.
Give it another try if you are considering picking it up again.
