Great game and the Dev is very cool. I was having some trouble setting up my local stable diffusion and they helped me out in the discord.
If you put in the time to set up your own txt2img stuff this game can be a beautiful game to play.
I also use NovelAI for the text generation and it's awesome!!!

I love the dungeon diving concept of this game and I can see it being expanded on in the future into 3D and other games. Such an innovative and enjoyable experience.

If you have a vision for what you want to do, this is the game for you.

Most review sites gave this a 10/10. A perfect game without flaws. If you go to bethesda's website you will see a wall of 10/10 displayed proudly for everyone to see... But this is not a perfect game, this is actually a very flawed game and I am deeply disappointed.

I just want it to be good.
There are too many things that just waste your time.
The writing is awful: "Well THAT just happened" and "yikes" equivalent is used constantly. Very reddit tier.
Multiple choice answers with all choices being yes, sassy yes, or YAS.
Most people are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to you and when you shoot them they are essential. MOST NPCs are essential. Just give me a popup that says this will break a quest later or something.
The writing lacks wisdom and sticks to surface level political takes that makes everyone flat cardboard cutouts.
Characters are profoundly ugly on purpose. I get having background characters that are just there for set dressing but ALL characters in this game are aggressively ugly. I'm glad ugly people got their representation but I just feel bad for all the normal people that will feel left out.
This game lacks women that are women. I get that it's very dystopian but when every woman talks to me like the biggest guy at a biker bar I start to notice. Everyone knows that this is because of progressive values that all women talk this way. It's just sad that you can't let a diverse range of women characters be in this game. I also saw this in Fallout 76, what a sad joke.
Temple puzzles are not puzzles they are time wasters.

Helpful Mods:
UI mods fix the bad UI. Also to remove all the waiting for the main menu to load. Dark mode for terminals.
Texture mods to fix the fiver low-quality artwork on billboards and other signage.
Mantis armor replacer because the helmet looks like a gaming mouse and it's supposed to be cool.
Mods to speed up door animations.
Mods to speed up sitting down in the pilot seat animations.
Mod to call your ship to you when you are on a planet.
Smooth Ship Reticle to fix choppy Ship Reticle.

I am sending my feedback to bethesda on their website one task at a time. It could be going nowhere but I am doing it anyways. I see a developer on here telling people to do that so, I am, and I will continue to.

Is this really the game bethesda wanted to make?
If my problems with this game are worked on I might have hope for future titles from this company. Currently I am feeling about as nihilistic and depressed as their progressive writers and staff. I hope their special changes to this game made them happy at least for a moment.

I can't recommend this game as it stands.

As an expert in zombie shooters and modding, I can confidently say that this game is an absolute blast to play. The shooting mechanics are tight and satisfying, and the game really nails the tense, atmospheric feeling of being constantly surrounded by the undead.

But what really sets this game apart is its modding support. The community has created an incredible array of mods that add everything from new weapon skins and enemy skins to entirely new campaigns.

Overall, if you're a fan of zombie shooters or modding, this game is an absolute must-play. The base game is already fantastic, but the modding support takes it to a whole new level of replayability and customization. Highly recommended!

I was told to avoid this game because it was the "bad" Dark Souls game. Well they were wrong and I LOVED it.
The world DS2 delivers is unique and inspirational. I have been fighting and enjoying every minute of it.

As a Substance Designer noob I spent a few days working through this great tutorial by Hugo Beyer. Hugo shows his dedication to detail when it comes to making materials with a "We can go deeper" vibe.

I learned methods from these videos that I haven't seen before and seeing Hugo's process for problem solving is inspiring. I learned that patience is important and that little details make all the difference.

I don't usually enjoy following tutorial videos but learning what Hugo has to offer is extremely rewarding. The resolution is at 720p and is a bit blurry at times but I was still able to follow along just fine.

Pro Tips:
The included files can be found in the "software" category in your steam library.
Pause and experiment to achieve your own solutions and look.
Check out Hugo's work on ArtStation.

edit: No clue why my Hours are not showing up here. I posted my material from this tutorial on the community hub so check it out.
