It's good fun, esp co-op with a friend!
I've been having fun even though it's cross-region.
Parkour feels nice and zombie combat is satisfying.
The story is mid, but that's okay as it's mostly just an excuse to run from objective to objective.
Can be a bit buggy at times but holds together pretty well most of the time!

The rework is really nice. Lots of over world content blended in with old classics. Everything has a fresh coat of paint and grinding for 7/8 feels far less tedious than its former state. I'm basically forced to start again with my alt because I lost my old browser account details a long while ago. Still, it's been fun playing with a kinda mid pet and building up characters from scratch again - the QoL changes go a long way.

I just wish that the micro transactions themselves were cheaper. I don't think their presence is too much of an issue. It's a free to play MMO getting lots of updates years after release after all. They gotta make money somehow. But $10 for each character slot and $5 for every vault expansion feels a bit steep since you probably want a few of those. And $26 for some skins?? It weirds me out that fortnite has a better pricing system for its cosmetics than a pixel graphics MMO from the late 00s.

The new seasonal system looks really cool for veteran players that already are over geared and have divine pets. Forcibly limits you to what you earn during a season and resets every so often keeping the game fresh for them too. If i get sucked into this game anymore than I am I see myself using that system more too. For now I'm having fun just grinding out pots, diving into a bunch of random dungeons and seeing how far I can push myself in harder dungeons solo.

Would recommend as a free time waster, and there's more depth if you don't mind dropping $30 for a bit of vault space and a couple character slots.

Despite other co-op horror games existing on the market.. This is the one my friends and I keep coming back to! It's spooky, silly fun that gets more hectic the more people you throw into the mix. Not worth playing if you're just looking to play a single player experience, other things achieve that far better. But for what it is, this game is a lot of fun!

A small game that gives me positivity when I need it most... Gives me space to practise my own kindness.

I love 'Kind Words' and all the lovely people I've spoken my heart to.

If you need just a little bit of joy and positivity injected into your life, this is a really good way to seek that.
