Really badly written. Poor pacing. So much annoying BS.

The story is really bad. The writers wanted to write a particular story, someone protested and said there's this whole game attached to it, and the writer went ahead and wrote the story they wanted to anyway.

IGNORE THE STORY AND SKIP ALL CUTSCENES is my recommendation.

Also when you think it's over - it isn't - there's a whole new planet afterwards.

Suffer through it. When you finish, enable mayhem mode and play the actual game. Then it gets fun.

But leveling your first character is pretty meh..

Works great on Linux

A spot-on re-imagining of the original DOOM. Campaign is fun all the way through.

Good game, but absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Linux support. If you don't care to support it well, just don't support it, OK?

Does not live up to the civilization name.

Flawless Linux support

Works flawlessly on Linux (Arch, with proprietary Nvidia drivers). 1 flaw though. Atm there is a memory leak. After about 3 hours, the game will consume 8 GB of RAM and if that's all you have, it will crash due to swapping etc.

Despite that though, it's excellent.

Edit: Might not be a memory leak. In any case, throwing more memory at the problem works. 24GB eliminates the problem
