After watching YouTube videos, playing as the Saxon faction and "learning the ropes" Attila is extremely addictive.
My original review highlighted that this was unplayable due to constant crashing after I ended "my turn". I havemn't had crashes since playing as the Saxon faction.
This is a very good game. It def needs an update and the problems fixed. I have no idea why the devs release games then after a few years abandon them, Steam needs to address this major issue which is borderline product fraud IMHO. Ie, selling a product which the devs know is faulty but still flog it and just turn a blind eye. How hard would it be for the devs to put a couple of people on their older games to fix these? Be warned, the game is very good, a steep learning curve but has a tendency to crash out and has bugs. Other than that, buy it on sale only.

The 2nd best in the Sniper Elite series. SE2 is the best. The multiplayer was legendary back in the day.

You have to be a fan of this era in British history to actually love this game.
I've played all TW games, well mostly. I would say that this surpasses Rome and RTW2, ME2 and the other ancient TW's. I'm still a huge ETW and NTW fan but they seem dated.

ToB takes a while to get used to, especially for people crossing over from the NTW mechanics. NTW and ETW are easier to play. ToB is not easy. Start off with an easy faction at first, watch your loyalty and slowly build up your economy and a smaller army.
I read all the negative reviews and asked on the forum if this is a good game. I wasn't disappointed.
Lastly YOU HAVE TO BE A FAN OF BRITISH ANCIENT HISTORY TO LIKE THIS GAME!
For me, this game is up there with NTW and ETW. It's way better than RTW and ME2.

Excellent game. The bots are pretty good and you can play huge battles.

One of the best WW2 shooters ever made. Unfortunately it's a dead game now, no one plays this anymore.

NWI are still selling this dead game for $15. It really is only worth less that $5 right now in this state.
