My biggest issue with this game is that it takes too much inspiration from Humankind, a Civilization knock-off that attempted to try radically different mechanics in a Civ-like game. Except instead of borrowing certain elements from that game, Civ 7 tries to emulate it as much as possible. To the point where it sacrifices the series' identity. I fear the developers over corrected a bit too much and made a game that barely resembles a Civilization game.

I wanted an advancement of Civilization 6. Not a weird clone hybrid of Humankind.

It has controller support and is Steam Deck Compatible!

I don't know why the store says it doesn't support controllers when it natively does right out of the box. Very addicting simulator where you just break down ships and harvest their resources for cash and tool upgrades. Very relaxing and laid back game.

Phenomenal for Steam Deck.

Everything great about Planet Coaster, but now fully optimized natively for Steam Deck. The controls are intuitive and the U.I. is controller friendly. Frame rates can drop into the 20s on very dense parks, but I've only had this problem when I'm trying to simulate 5000+ npcs and 40+ rides running simultaneously on screen. Otherwise graphically it runs very well.

Hands down the best management/creative builder/simulation game you can get for Steam Deck right now

If you're hoping this will work on Steam Deck... it doesn't. Very poorly optimized even on low settings and various protons. It keeps crashing for me and I can't get past the prologue. It's a shame because this game and its humor comes across as a clever spiritual successor to Saints Row 2

The game play is great, but this is no longer the sit back casual sniping game that Sniper Elite V2 was known for. This series is straying further and further away from it's roots with each new entry. Sniper Elite 5 is more of a infiltration stealth game like Hitman or Splinter Cell that just happens to include detailed Sniping mechanics. Everything must be calculated and well thought out now as the entire map reacts and changes to every disturbance you create; otherwise known as simply playing the game.

It is no longer the relaxing arcade game where you play as an overly skilled sniper shooting your way through linear missions. It has morphed into a game where you are a spy that must skillfully infiltrate your way through a big open world; where sniping has become an afterthought. The third campaign mission "Spy Academy," is the prime example of this as you are constantly moving upward in elevation in a tight urban setting where sniping isn't ideal at all. Not even Sniper Elite 4 required this much thinking in order to simply enjoy the game casually.

For a lot of people, Sniper Elite 5 is a terrific stealth game that offers more than enough to satisfy their game play needs. But it strays so far away from the casual sniping game that the Sniper Elite franchise use to be that many of you may find this game to be a turn off with the amount of strategy you have to put into planning each and everyone of your actions now as the game punishes you for trying to be a noisy sniper.

Back when Sniper Elite was a linear arcade game about sniping and not an open world Hitman/Splinter Cell clone that makes the sniping part of the game a secondary experience.

If you love Sniper Elite 5's open world super-spy infiltration setting, Sniper Elite V2 may not be for you. This game is more focused on you being a Sniper with an arcadey amount of high ammo and almost no stealth mechanics at all.

This is a straight to the point linear shooter, which is what the charm was when this game originally came out all those years ago.

This iteration of Toy Soldiers is a prime example of fixing something wasn't broken. The UI is clunky and not as intuitive as the radial one from the original games, that is my biggest gripe with this re-master. A lot of the 'old' WW1 charm is taken out too with all of the HD features making the background and backdrops more artsy than weathered and gritty.

Only recommend if you get on sale
