i would describe this game as below average. the combat is a little too plentiful and simply annoying at times (especially against the birds), and the story constantly jumps between wanting to be taken seriously and just being straight up silly, but the game has a very clear identity and place in the horror genre, so i'm recommending it just for that

it's one of those games where the less you know about it the better time you'll have

the trailers and descriptions try really hard to hype you up for a game that essentially boils down to a toddler's shape sorting toy

this had a lot of great ideas, but none of them are executed well

lets me live out the fantasy of being my dnd character without the immense anxiety of roleplaying as my dnd character in an actual session

i didnt find it as addicting as most people seem to do but its a nice game

if you like frantically shouting at your partner this is the game for you

good but not great, i'd say its generally more fun than generations' 2d stages but not as good as mania. some of the stages have a ton of random movement-affecting platforms that make going through them feel like a chore. very cute artstyle though
