Valve has been on a streak lately with these updates.
Game in itself was already the ideal game out there for the viewers, for the players, for the tryhards, for the parties, but was plagued by the same problems a lot of multiplayer games faced, Valve is now working towards solving a lot of these issues.
TL:DR; game is much more enjoyable than it was before.

Great core gameplay and idea, expecting a lot more QoL changes post-beta.
The game has a surprisingly high skill ceiling and a lot of space for individual & team plays. Easy to get into and learning curve is rather linear. Give it a shot :>

You can always feel the progression playing the game, it is completely F2P and just requires your soul to farm dungeons everyday. Co-op is really relevant and endgame content is there for you to farm. Distinct classes to change up the play style. Burned out? Take a break and come back some day, you might be surprised with some buffs to the older characters.

TF2 has aspects no other FPS has, excluding it being a hat simulator. But its potential is severely underappreciated by developers; and as of 23rd of August 2021, hasn't gotten a major update for over 1400 days. The bot problem is still prominent, and the Valve servers are either breaking down or getting DDoS'd by hackers. Casual mode is literally unplayable in HK and SG servers. It just seems like Valve wants to kill the game.
