This game is perfect for an intro to speedrunning. Much like Neon White, it has approachable level design and tons of optimizations that make it easy to get into trying to set a new personal best for each level, especially aiming to get all the S rank times. The platforming and mechanics feel good, and the game has tons of QoL features to make grinding for new times easy.

Personally I never really thought about the story, and I think it is pretty shallow, which is probably my main critique. There is not too much to look at past the well-designed platforming, great art, and good music, but if you are just looking for smooth speedrunning or a fun and short platformer, it is perfect and reasonably priced for the mileage you will get.

Helldivers 2 is a great game that captures something I've only ever felt in classics like PAYDAY 2 (rip PAYDAY 3) and L4D2, where you feel like you and your friends are actively living a movie

The feeling is awesome, the mechanics are perfect, the premium currency is free if you play, and the community is strong AND funny, 10/10 overall

Slime Rancher is an adorable and peaceful game that I have enjoyed for a while. Although the content may look a little shallow at first, it is really fun and you will get stuck playing it for hours if you aren't careful
