"too easy" except they cart cannot gem themselves wear ♥♥♥♥♥♥ equipment and the second an event quest drops they talk more ♥♥♥♥ because they can't beat it.
"you need dlss or frame gen" like the game didn't explicitly say you need modern hardware to play it
"i dont like how they did the story" tell me you've never played a monster hunter game and don't know how they segment the world without telling me you haven't

I've been anti the Persona series and japanese schoolboy simulators as a whole for a long while and this winning GOTY 2024 had me curious - I'm happy I decided to give it a chance because it's cream of the crop. Now I have to do research and find the least juvenile/pervy Persona/SMT to visit.

its insane, considering the amount of time that went into the anatomy and animations of the horse ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on it's own balls in this mature rated game, that you can't name your horse '♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥'

Not the most magical remaster but boy are them skies purdy.

There needs to be a name for this genre; like Undertale, this is a "fantastic - but go in knowing nothing DONT LOOK IT UP and trust the recommendation" game where explaining anything is spoiling.

Three hours in and I was kind of disappointed. There didn't seem to be much mechanical variety but the Hollow Sekiro-ness is there.

Ten hours in and I was hooked, things blossomed well enough and the story and characters were really starting to grow on me.

Twenty two hours in, my hands were sweating, finally beating the last boss. I'd call this the definite Sekiro to Hollow Knight's Dark Souls - a shorter and more narratively curated experience focused mainly around the parry mechanic. GOTY material.

the storyline just doesn't work half the time if you think about any of it for more than a moment. like clive and jill are shocked pikachu face when the world doesn't outright embrace them after performing the biggest terrorist attack since the pixel final fantasies
