Do you know Life is Strange? Did you enjoy it?

If that's the case, then buy this game, you will not be disappointed.

Simple, almost basic story and engaging, fresh gameplay. Really god camera immersion, especially on rolls.

Also great game to watch being speedran.

It's kinda like playing first Rainbow Six, but excluding the shooter part.

Missions are tough, campaings are even tougher (permadeath on officers, and wounds go from mission to mission), but the game is very rewarding. Seeing the entire hours-in-making plan unfold in less that minutes is priceless.

I wish weapons were a bit more diverse, but mods help with that. In general, Workshop help this game a lot, with more weapons, sounds, voices and maps.

Definitely recommended.

I've sinked into FTL for many, many hours and after playing Into the Breachfor just a couple of them, I'm sure this will be the case again.

Soundtrack is once again amazing.
Gameplay is very fresh. There is absolutely no RNG during battles and there is a LOT of satisfaction to be had.
Pixel graphics are as timeless and beautiful as in FTL.
And roguelikeness, hard and unforgiving. But even from defeat you will always gain something to help you on the next run, whether it's veteran pilot or completely new mech squad.

Give yourself a treat and buy this game, you will not regret it. Especially in era of ovepriced AAA titles that seldom deliver what they promised and leech even more money after buying.

And if you liked FTL, you really don't need this review, because you are propably playing ItB right now :)

Early Access Review
The only game where producing 20,000 of something per minute is considered "barely enough".

It is also one of games when you plan to sit for a half-hour session "to fix a small bottleneck".

Then suddenly it's 4 in the morning and that bottleneck is nowhere near being fixed because you tried fixing the other bottleneck first, and there was a power outage, and aliens spat on your walls, and a mine got depleted, and better ammo tech got done, so you needed to set it up so aliens wouldn't spit to so much on your walls, and a train got stuck so you had to rework a junction and... wait, how is 6 AM now?

Borind and grindy. Run and get killed a couple dozen times until after 1,5h you unlock a next rank. Can't change loadout when dead, you have respawn at armory (and it's ususally quite a away from frontline).

Might be slightly better when playing with friends.

IO Interactive just showed the world how to make a game with only 6 maps that you will actually want to replay again and again and again, be it the main mission, escalations, elusive targets or community made contracts.

If there is a game with endless replayability value, this might be it.

There is a couple of games that let's you build your own planes or rockets and fly them.
There is a couple of games that let's you see how the universe works, see movement of planets and check views on them.
There is a couple of games that let's plan and execute complex missions, from a Polar Expedition to colonizing other worlds.

But there is only one game that's let's you do all of the above.

So this is supposed to be Rollcage's legacy - but I've never played it.

Instead - imagine Rocket League, but without balls (and yet you need those still) and with guns, missiles, afterburners and tracks that go like: "WOOOOAH, DUDE, WHERE'S UP?"

Also looks darn good.

AND FINALLY A GAME WORTHY OF HAVING SPLIT SCREEN.

EDIT: This game is finally out of Early Access, and is worthy tittle for "Most Fun With A Machine"!

You know Magicka? So this is Magicka.

But with:
- Guns
- Bugs (Starship Troopers, aw yeah)
- Mechs
- Tanks
- Guns
- Weird-robot-men
- Even-weirder-alien-men(?)
- ... did I mention guns?

Also great multiplayer campaign, bosses and hours of fun.

Also friendly fire - because nothing says "friendship" like droping an Hellpod(TM) nearing orbital velocity on someones head. Though it CAN be a not-friendly head too!
