A puzzle game.

Yes, I consider this a puzzle game - it might look like a game about tearing and cutting stuff up. And it kinda is - unless you want to maximize profit/hour. You need a plan, you need the skill to execute the plan and you need the knowledge and resources how to do it properly.

It's a bit barebones right know (June 2020) but there is huge potential. And it's dirt cheap for the content it provides. Get it if you can.

There are two reasons you are reading this review:
-You like city builder games
-Someone told you you about a funny review on Steam
If it's the second case, you got the wrong review, sorry. If it's the first case, you propably played SimCity

If that's the case - this is SimCity but better in almost any way. Do yourself a favor and try it.

Imagine you can play any board game that you can buy.

Now stop imagining and do it in this game.

And SO much more.

While I have fond memories of this game, right now I would avoid it.

The huge battles are truly amazing - when they happen. There is not enough players. Microtransation are borderline P2W (and some actually are).

If you can gather some friends, give it a go, it's fre anyways.

Where do I even start.

Comparing this to GTA series is... wrong. Yes, they are similar but it's like comparing Dark Knight movies and Deadpool.

You get the point.

Still the best Civ game there is, and propably will be for time to come.

As board game conversions go, this one is decent enough. Right now, all that is in physical game is here too, including draft mode. AI is not the best, even at hard difficulty.

Get it on sale.

One of the best management games currently available. Campaign is solid, sandbox mode is entertaining.

Biggest downside: sandbox is almost impossible to lose after you establish yourself, as there is no competition or random events. You just continue to grow, without worrying about funds. The track laying tool has some quirks to it, but hopefully it will be better in the sequel.

There are some games, that you will play maybe just once, maybe twice in your life. It’s simply because after those two times you’ve seen almost everything the game has to offer.

But what you’ve seen, heard and felt during playing, will stay with you until your last breath. Memories and experiences of those games will shape you as person and give you new perspectives.

All of that for a measly price and couple of afternoons of your time.
