There are some games, that you will play maybe just once, maybe twice in your life. It’s simply because after those two times you’ve seen almost everything the game has to offer.

But what you’ve seen, heard and felt during playing, will stay with you until your last breath. Memories and experiences of those games will shape you as person and give you new perspectives.

All of that for a measly price and couple of afternoons of your time.

Go play this game.

It's a cosmetic pack, nothing more. Voice advisors are pretty decent, but you can get portraits, ships and even VIRs with mods.

Consider buying while on sale, otherwise avoid.

Kinda overpriced, so grab only when on sale.

If buy it, you get:
- Mini-bosses - challenging during mid-game, little more than a speedbump late-game. Rewards follow the same pattern.
- Enclaves - think City-States from Civilization series, albeit much less numerous, and only three flavors: science, unity/culture and trade/rare materials. Kinda mandatory, but you can get by without those.
- War in Heaven - sort of late-game crisis, basically two Fallen Empires wake up and remember how much they hate each other (were they married before?). You must choose whom to side with (or stand against both, if your balls-equivalent is of sufficient size)

Get it on sale, worth it.

Second most mandatory DLC for Stellaris (after Utopia)

Robots are fun to play (albeit can get repetitive), especially if certain end-game crisis happens. And they are different, even from Hive Minds.

There is now also the danger of Machine Uprising - enslave your synthetic pops for too long and they will revolt. And what a bloody revolution it will be!

I dislike using the word “experience” instead of “game”, which is so popular nowadays.

But here, in This War of Mine, it’s completely justified. Experiences change people, their thoughts and perspectives. This War of Mine does just that.

You’ve probably played countless war games, be it shooters, RTSes or some other kind. Universally almost, there were two sides: Us and Them. And yet, there is always a third side, the one stuck in between, the one suffering the most – the civilians. And now you get to play as them. There are no heroes here, just survival. No orders or objectives, only your moral compass.

This game is only as good as your immersion into it. Sure, you can bludgeon everyone to death with a crowbar and loot whatever is left. You could steal from an elderly couple and let them starve to death.

But would you do that in real life, real situation? And even if, would you still be the same person after?

In short words - if you've played Stellaris for so long that you know every event, boss, encounter by heart, get this DLC.

Otherwise, wait until it's on sale or you've become person as described above.

Severly overpriced, so grab only when on sale.

If buy it, you get:
- Megastructures - expensive late-game projects. Usability varies.
- Habitats - hand-made little planets. Quite fun, especially when there is not a lot of room to manuever and expand. Since some patch ago, they get bonuses depeding on whats on the planet below them.
- (I'm pretty sure Ascension Perks are part of base game right now)
- Indoctrination - situationally useful, but it's hard to find primitives to begin with.
- Adv. Slavery - never used it
- Adv. Governments - best part of this DLC in my opinion. Hive Minds are very different to play and it's fun to eviscerate all life as Purifiers.

Get it on sale, it's the most mandatory DLC for Stellaris.

Severly overpriced, so grab only when on sale.

If buy it, you get:
- Colossi - planet killers. They require an ascension perk, and by the time you get them, they are too slow. But there are 5 flavors, and some don't just crack open the planet. Neutron sterlization, impassable shield or massive "wololo" ray.
- Titans - flagships for your battleships and cruiser fleets. Comes with very (!) big gun and customizable area of effect aura. At most you can have three.
- Marauders - space Mongols. Can form an interesting mid-game crisis. It's kinda fun having them as neighbours (if you are into that)
- Unity Amibtions - finally something to do with Unity after you get all Ascension Perks. Most of them are useless, so only 2-3 are worthwhile.
- and I don't that much care about the music.

Recommended, but only while on sale.

Severly overpriced, so grab only when on sale.

If buy it, you get:
- Corporate empires - a bit different than regular empires, but not so much (except Crime Corpo, this is kinda fresh). Basically you get metric ****ton for energy, and buy everything else on the market for the cheapest of prices.
- Ecumenopolis - planet-wide cities. Basically a super specialized planet for consumer goods or alloys (and gajilion pops - really, 500 pops on a planet is not so difficult, with slaves you can get to 1000 pops easily)
- Caravaneers - vagabond merchants. Every once in a while they will visit and try to sell you something usually useless (unless they are on the far side of the galaxy, then tough luck). And you can gamble and buy loot boxes for credits, so that's a thing.
- New megastructures - some of those can be build WITHOUT ascension perk. And Strategic Coordination Center is a must for almost any empire)
- Slave market - for obvius reasons if you are a slaver. But you can also use it as non-slaver - buy pops and set them free in you empire (especially if these are your pops that have been kidnapped).
- New music and advisor - good enough, not much else to say.

Recommended, but ONLY on sale.
