This was an interesting impulse purchase for me. I don't often buy games for full price, even less Remastered.
AND I finished the og game only 3 months ago. In the past, it never clicked for me. One of the reason, the game coming from an era, where devs preferred consoles by far and pc got the bare minimum effort. The annoying menu and gameplay build for game pads felt weird compared to Morrowind (which I absolutely love btw).
The ugly npc and oversaturated colorful graphic didn't help either to make me like the game, especially if you're coming from the dark gritty foggy Morrowind.
But for some reason 3 months ago, i don't know anymore why, i wanted to play and even complete Oblivion, no matter what, in its og status aka no mods (modding Oblivion sucks anyway, no way to fix the broken lod) but I used bethini, a great tool which help to make the game look much better, without using mods, by changing settings in the ini to higher values, that you can't do in the ingame settings.
And while I even enjoyed the game more than I thought, and admit its an ok game and has its charm, I still think it's one of the most ugly AAA game in video game history. In the end I even rushed the main story and called it a day, cuz I had enough of the graphic. It's probably one of the reason if bought the Remastered instantly, It literally fix my issue I have with the graphic and man the Remastered doing it so well. The dungeons feeling so atmospheric with the details and lightning. Which makes them from boring to do them over and over again to one of the enjoyable dungeons in any video games. And while this game is really a Remaster and not a Remake, by just changing the graphic, I noticed some other chances too, like the people talking to each other in the town and giving hints to quests, love this feature. Not only for finding side quests easier, makes the game a lil bit more alive.
More reasons: I wanted to do more stuff in the game and not just rush the main story this time, like more side quests, guilds and most important the DLCs.

Btw the game is pretty demanding. I mean it looks great, but it's the typical UE5 issue, damn.
Luckily nothing you can't fix by finding the right settings the game looks good enough even with a mid/high setting.
(whats up with people , who think everything must be played at ultra? I remember back then games like Crysis, where almost no one were able to do so and it was fine)
I literally notice any different when I chance the distance view from high to mid, it still let you see for miles and notice details. Same for some other settings, where the different is almost not noticeable. Easy to run it at 60fps (120 with framegen)

Weapon AND Armor Durability. That's a BIG NOPE from me.
It's not even mention in the game store description.

Jump height is bound to fps.
I was wondering for the 5 hours I played with 120 fps why the game is so ridiculously hard, like had to make pixel perfect jumps to a point where I couldn't do a ramp jump, not matter how hard I tried. So after a lil google search, I found out, Spyro jumps lower if you have high fps. At first, I thought "no way, they must be joking", capped fps to 30 and damn the game became much easier...
The fact the devs never patched this is a shame and negative review worthy.

Absolutely love the game so far. Again with beautiful world design, satisfying stealth and combat, more of the same from Part 1, but with new stuff added like prone, hidding in high grass, etc. Great dialogs, sounds and soundtracks.
Runs pretty solid on my PC with 60 fps (120 with frame gen) Probably even more, but I always cap my fps with amd chill.
BUT the game has one weird thing going on; everytime I open the weapon or crafting menu, the game lagging down to 20/40 fps, Couldn't figured out whats causing this. Hope its not just me and it will be patch.

I always wondered, does people who cry about the Joel stuff actually played the first part or just skipped through dialogs and cutscenes? Even without the motivation, why this happens to him in Part 2, we already know from the first part he is a selfish piece of ♥♥♥♥...
...but then again, people idolize the joker, serial killers and other bad people too...

A surprisingly good and HIGHLY ADDICTIVE game.
I thought it would be one of the many half-assed asset-flip meme games, but it's pretty well done.
The design was one thing that threw me off first too, but I kinda love it, the Rick & Morty on drugs NPCs.
It can be complex if you want it to be. If you want to go the ADHS way, you research all kind of drug mix and distribute them... but if that's not your style, you can keep it basic, the costumer won't complain (so far in my 10 hours gameplay), they will take, what you have thrown out on the market.

Wish the system which pay you to keep your neighborhood clean would exist irl.

As an axolotl fan, I REALLY wish this game would be good. But it's pretty meh. Brings nothing new to the table, while other games of the genre like Enter the Gungeon, The Binding of Isaac, Nuclear Throne, Hades, etc etc doing a far better job.
If you have a variety big like this genre, you don't have to play and be fine with mediocre games.

[changed my "being disappointed" review to "best game ever made" review]

I'm absolutely bad at souls-like games, but that's not stopping me from enjoying the lore, world, items/enemy/boss design, simply the atmosphere of the souls games. A good motivation to play and even complete the games. Helped me to complete Bloodborne, my only souls game I completed so far. Working on this one too. Should not be that hard, its pretty easy and even enjoyable to overleveling, cuz you don't have to actually grind the boring way, it just happens if you just try to discover every corner of the map. And the world has soooooo much to offer. I found so much new stuff with my other chars, even if I took my time with my first char already.

Btw this is the first souls game where I have the feeling I'm actually getting better by just playing the game. All the movement pattern getting burned into my brain, by just the amount I already played the game.

Game is surprisingly fun so far. I really thought the suggestive Furry chars would be the only selling point. But no. Fun combat, good N64/PS1 artstyle and dungeon design, different enemies for day and night aaaand scythes as one of the weapon typs :D. Not bad.

Worst part of this game? The redneck christianity music, worst kind of country music.
Cant believe music like this exist und people actually listen to this crap irl.
And Hurk, f*ck this dude. Stop bringing him back in every f*cking FarCry,

But otherwise; pretty solid FarCry game.
Not my favorite (3 is still the best), but damn close.
Best FarCry story. Good/interesting chars.
The map is boring tbh, no diversity. We have the 3 regions, but they all look the same.

I wish Ubisoft would bring something new to the table. Outstanding new.
Companions are nice to have (they had this feature already in Wildlands).
Didnt care for the fishing part, did it only one time for the bear companion.
But thats it, nothing really new.

BotW, if it were actually good.

If BotW and AC make a lil baby, that has the best of both, but has his lil own personality and humor too.
Not having the BotW durability crap just make this the far better game. Better graphic and performance (obviously), better writing, better combat, better enemies.

I expected nothing and been big surprised. Probably the best game from Ubisoft in the last years.
