Quite bare in content department for a 5yr old game (with all DLC's equipped).

The concept is very good, movement is fluid and the gameplay is solid...

... but holy fu‎‏‏‎‏‏‎ck this game desperately needs more items and content. F-ing Castlevanias on NDS had more items/weapons etc. The reason why I can play Binding of Isaac over and over and over again is because there is sooo many items and variables and stats and characters and everything...
...
... I dont feel that in Dead Cells... also is it me or the maps barely feel like they've been randomly generated?... especially Castlevania ones.

Speaking of Castlevania... I would love to see Order of Ecclesia 2 made in Dead Cells.

- I really thought this would be my new go-to RNG-based game to have fun on a train... but I'll most likely stick to Isaac. Still a fun game.

(and before You sh‏‏‏‏‏‏‎‏‏‎it on me for having only 8hrs of in-game time... bro Ive seen lists on the internet and this amount of weapons/items should've been on premiere 5 years ago)

You need to pay to unlock more stars... $20 per one.

On a serious note, this should've been an update for OW1, not a separate game.

+ Insane (but quite short) replayable campaign
+ Awesome characters with great personality and voice-acting
+ Good MP maps
+ Quite nice graphics (especially in cut-scenes)
+ Detailed weapon stats
+ Outbreak

+/- (weapon) Animations are mid-tier
+/- Sound design is questionable
+/- Customization is quite ok but not as good as MW19/2
+/- New mechanics in zombies...
+/- ... and maps aint that awesome
+/- Questionable scorestreak system
+/- TTK is waaay to high (but some people do perfer it that way)

- (no major flaws)

Basically an arcade version of MW19 set in '84. Campaign is awesome... MP can be fun if You like faster movement... zombies is not bad, definitely can be fun, but its far from being awesome.

Who tf thought that recording only one voiceline for each critical hit was a good idea?

9/10... weird but deep game with nice visuals, fantastic characters and not that great controls

Basically a -50% on $20CP with two 'meh' weapon skins. Buy it now if You are waiting for that sweet anime pack that will come later at $20 anyway.

+ Great campaign
+ Customization (tons of attachments and skins)
+ Fun game modes
+ Solid maps

+/- UI is usable but needs a rework anyway
+/- Unlock system is confusing as hell
+/- Nice amount of weapons altho half of them looks the same (AK, G3, M4 and their variants)
+/- Speaking of guns... You cant customize them in SP... and there are like 3 guns in the entire campaign... the rest of them are missing or are extremely rare to find
+/- Cant put 20x Scope on a Shotgun
+/- Spec Ops is a joke altho its still an extra content they didnt need to add

- Lack of leaderboards, challenges, stats and HC at day one

If You care mostly about shooting and pure gameplay, then its like 8/10. It lacks some things but they will most likely add/fix them in next 3-6 months. Not a big deal. It will probably be a 9-/10 when Warzone, DMZ, Season 1 and raids show up.

Poor man's copycat of Smash Bros with no soul and only a handful of characters... still kinda fun with friends.

(season 9 or something) Would be the best BR out there... but it only has like 6 weapons or something which is a bad joke after over 3 years of development.

(oh... and half of them have some gimmicks attached to it)

+ Satisfying, fast paced and beautiful to look at combat
+ Awesome soundtrack
+ Likeable characters
+ Dialogues and cutscenes

+/- idk about graphics... sometimes they look good (for its time)... sometimes they look like RTCW... from 2001
+/- Didnt pay that much attention to the story, from casual perspective its good... but Ive read that it has some serious logic problems which I didnt pay attention to because I came here to have fun with my sword
+/- Upgrade system... yeah... its there... nothing to write home about... its decent.
+/- Wolf/K-9000 is heavily underused

- Much shorter than I expected (6-7 hours, depends on Your exp. with slashers)
- Awful camera (and controls)


Must have for HnS fans... the rest can wait for sale and then try it.
