Early Access Review
It was a fun game with great potential, then the devs changed core mechanics for the worse and dipped. Would still recommend to at least check it out.

I always loved the OG SpinTires. Mudrunner is not a completely new game but it's an upgrade that's worth it. Quality of life is much better and there are some physics improvements, etc. Would definitely recommend.

I've played superfighters (the flash game) countless times with my cousin and we loved it, it was always a different kind of gameplay everytime we played it. So I was hyped when I heard this game was coming out. I've been playing it since the pre-alpha times and I am in love with this game as well. It packs fast-paced action, great animations and its pixels for gods sake.

TL;DR - Epic game must check out.

TL;DR I love this game but what the hell is ubisoft doing. Still fun though 5/7

My Opinions
I pre-ordered the gold edition and I can easily say that it has been my favourite game for a long time.

Community
As a new player, you will find yourself thrown in a massive pit of toxic doom as soon as you start playing casual. You'll probably see it as a problem at first but you just get used to it. Aceepting the community is key if you intend to play without friends.

Learning Curve
Easy to learn, hard to master. This game has a very steep learning curve and it will take a lot of time to get things right, but when you get the hang of it you will start having a lot of fun. Also the fun doubles with every frind you bring.

My opinion on Ubisoft
I don't think they really have a clue on what to do next with this game. Some updates are very well thought out while the others are absolute trash.
Sometimes I wonder if Ubi even fully test their game before pushing an update.
They change the game mechanics, buff or nerf operators mostly based on pro-leauge feedback which can sometimes put normal mid-rank players in a bad spot.
They tend to nerf good performing operators/guns instead of buffing the bad performing ones. Which is a very bad design choice imo.

On the bright side, Ubi is making a lot of progress in order to improve the game (test server, gathering community feedback, etc.).
The patch notes always include even the smallest detail, even if they don't really affect much.

Conclusion
Anyone could have fun in this game but the biggest drawback would be the steep learning curve.
You probably should give R6: Siege a try. Who knows, maybe you'll love it like me; or maybe you'll just refund it after the first match.

PS: Sorry for the long review, I don't think I can attach a potato so you'll have to deal with it!

TL;DR I had fun playing before but with the new updates and stuff the game is turning into a pay to win game. Thats what i hate the most about this game. It was easier to get a new soldier in the game but right now if you want a sniper or tank crew you have to play like 2 days in a row to get the money and exp for it.

My Opinions
I can no longer recommend this game as it went worse and worse for the past year and a half. I no longer have fun playing H&G and question the decisions Reto.Moto took during that time span.
Heroes & Generals is a F2P WW2 game with a vast variety of weapons, vehicles, camouflages, planes and tanks. This is most likely the best WW2 game you can get in its category. However I have a few things to address before you start getting into the game.

This game is not meant for casuals
As a new player, you will find yourself thrown in a massive pit of doom as soon as you hit Gold MM (after 10-15h of playtime from my own experience) because everyone is rocking better weapons and better badges than you.

My opinion on the Grind
What can you expect, it's a free to play game. I've never really complained about this part of the game so I have little knowledge about what's going on. All I can tell is that prices for some items are really weird/ not logical. But I guess it's the way Reto wants to go in order to limit the appearance of such items in the game (ex: people running with MG42, M1/M2, AVS on Bronze MM). The only thing I could recommend is to increase salaries back to the previous build in order to be more new player friendly.

My opinion on Reto.Moto(Developers)
I don't want to lynch the devs for everything that is wrong with this game. It's a small company, they do what they can to provide us fun content. It can take them very long to push an update with little content and it saddens me to see people discrediting Reto for any little issue this game has.

But, sometimes I feel like Reto and the community aren't on the same page.

For example, the new plane update was nothing like I expected, what everyone expected. We were expecting, for example, p51 for the US, Bf110 for the Germans, Pe-3 for the SU. But instead we got recon planes which have no influence on a battle. They literally just shoot each others and that's it. Even if really fun to play, they can't bring anything else on a battle because of how weak (armor and firepower) they actually are.

Another example, they made it impossible to get on roofs now. I remember seeing myself on B2 on Forward Airfield trying to shoot down paratroopers camping on the roofs (because you can cap points on roofs which is stupid now that they removed the ability to counter it). And dont get me started about attic capping.

There are many other things like that and sometimes I wonder if Reto even fully test its game before pushing an update.

Moreover, Reto ninja nerfs features they don't mention in patch notes. Last time it was the credits earned per battle (which has now been explained unofficially), the window example explained above, etc.

On the bright side, Reto is making a lot of progress in order to address these issues (prototype server, gathering community feedback, etc.) and I can see them improve overtime.

Conclusion
As I said, this game wasn't made for casuals. Don't play this game in order to achieve or unlock things but play it for what it was meant to be, FOR FUN. And if you can overcome the first hours of grind, this is actually quite a decent WW2 game. Maybe even the best in its category. You can play with many different weapons, drive jeeps, halftracks and trucks, pilot tanks and planes, parachute behind enemy lines, etc. And the maps are huge. Sure it might be not so well optimized but I don't hear a lot of complains from people playing this game on a decent computer.

The least you can do is give Heroes & Generals a try, it's free and who knows, you might like it.

TL;DR I love this game and the deva have done a really good job throughout the years. Definitely rcommend it 5/7

My Opinions
I bought the game when it first came out and I can easily say that it has been my favourite game for a long time and it's playerbase has grown a lot.

Community
As a new player, you will find yourself thrown in a massive pit of cheaters as soon as you start playing multiplayer, so I recommed playing with friends. You'll maybe have some problems at first but you will get used to it as you will adapt to the community.

Learning Curve
This game doesn’t really have a learning curve and you will get used to it really quick. If you play with your friends you'll double the fun with every single friend you bring.

Conclusion
As I said, anyone could have fun in the game. You probably should give PAYDAY 2 a try. Who knows, maybe you'll love it like me; or maybe you'll just refund it after the first match.
