Actual thought put into the gameplay instead of making it the most basic thing. Example being Dead by Daylight where holding M1 to just do a generator for a minute or so, run around the same identical loops on each map for about 5 minutes, run out the exit gate, wash, rinse, and repeat. TCM's gameplay is more than just that, and is meant to be a more casual experience. Whereas Dead by Daylight it's as toxic as the Wastelands in Fallout.

As an ardent fan of the original Half-Life, it pains me to say that Half-Life 2 falls short of its predecessor in more ways than one. I had eagerly awaited its release, expecting a worthy continuation of the groundbreaking franchise that revolutionized the first-person shooter genre. Unfortunately, what I experienced was a disappointing departure from everything that made the original Half-Life a masterpiece.

First and foremost, the storyline lacks the depth and intrigue that made the original game so captivating. While the original Half-Life immersed players in a richly detailed and immersive world, Half-Life 2 fails to provide the same level of engagement. The plot feels convoluted and detached, with a seemingly arbitrary time jump that only adds to the confusion. The absence of the iconic Black Mesa facility and its fascinating scientific experiments is sorely felt, as the game's setting fails to inspire the same sense of wonder and curiosity.

The gameplay itself is a major letdown. Half-Life's tight and responsive controls set the bar high, but Half-Life 2 fails to live up to those expectations. The sluggish movement and unimpressive weapon mechanics dampen the sense of agency and skill that defined the original game. Furthermore, the game introduces unnecessary gimmicks such as the gravity gun, which feels more like a desperate attempt to compensate for the lackluster combat mechanics rather than a meaningful addition to the gameplay.

Another glaring issue is the absence of memorable characters. Half-Life introduced us to the unforgettable Gordon Freeman, a silent protagonist who nevertheless managed to leave a lasting impression. In Half-Life 2, the characters feel flat and one-dimensional, lacking the charm and depth that made the original cast so memorable. Even the highly anticipated return of Alyx Vance fails to elicit the same emotional investment we had in the first game.

Furthermore, the game's graphics, while technically superior to its predecessor, lack the artistic flair that made the original Half-Life so visually stunning. The dark and oppressive atmosphere that characterized Black Mesa has been replaced with a bland and generic dystopian cityscape. The visual design lacks the attention to detail and the masterful use of lighting that made the original game a visual masterpiece.

In conclusion, Half-Life 2 disappoints on multiple fronts. It fails to capture the essence of the original Half-Life, delivering a lackluster storyline, underwhelming gameplay mechanics, forgettable characters, and a visual design that pales in comparison. As a fan of the franchise, it's disheartening to witness such a decline in quality. I can only hope that future installments in the series will manage to recapture the magic that once made Half-Life a true gaming legend.

As a diehard fan of the first Left 4 Dead game, I had high expectations for Left 4 Dead 2. Unfortunately, after playing this so-called "sequel," I can confidently say that it's a massive f**king letdown.

Let's start with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ characters. While the original Left 4 Dead had a lovable and memorable cast, Left 4 Dead 2 feels like a cheap knockoff with uninspired and forgettable characters. They lack the depth, charm, and chemistry of the first game's survivors, making me wonder if the developers even cared about making them interesting.

Speaking of uninspired, let's talk about the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ campaigns. Left 4 Dead 2's campaigns feel like lazy rehashes of the first game's levels, with nothing new or exciting to offer. Sure, the settings may be different, but the gameplay and objectives are practically the same. It's as if the developers ran out of ideas and decided to copy-paste everything from the first game.

And don't even get me started on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ melee weapons. What the fk were they thinking? The first game's emphasis on ranged combat and teamwork was what made it so thrilling and intense. Left 4 Dead 2's addition of melee weapons only serves to dumb down the gameplay and make it feel like a hack-and-slash mess. It's as if the developers forgot what made the first game so great and decided to cater to braindead players who just want to swing a fking baseball bat.

Let's not forget the godawful A.I. in Left 4 Dead 2. The survivors and the infected feel like braindead idiots who can't do anything right. They get stuck on geometry, they don't follow your commands, and they constantly put themselves in danger without a second thought. It's like the developers wanted to make the game more frustrating and less enjoyable for everyone involved.

Lastly, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ realism mode. While it may sound like a good idea on paper, the reality is that it's a f**king mess. The game was not designed with realism in mind, leading to absurd situations where the survivors can't even carry a first-aid kit without dropping their primary weapon. It's as if the developers wanted to punish players for wanting a more challenging experience.

Overall, Left 4 Dead 2 is a fking disappointment that falls short of its predecessor in every way. From the uninspired characters and campaigns to the braindead A.I. and dumbed-down gameplay, this game feels like a lazy cash grab that doesn't deserve to carry the Left 4 Dead name. Stick with the first game and avoid this piece of st at all costs.

As a newcomer to the Fallout franchise, I recently had the pleasure of diving into the world of Fallout: New Vegas, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience! From the moment I stepped into the vast post-apocalyptic wasteland of the Mojave Desert, I was completely captivated by the immersive and intricate world that Bethesda and Obsidian Entertainment had crafted.

First and foremost, the storytelling in Fallout: New Vegas is simply phenomenal. The game presents a rich narrative filled with compelling characters, moral dilemmas, and unexpected twists. The faction system, which allows you to align yourself with different groups, creates a sense of depth and meaningful choices that greatly impacts the outcome of the game. I found myself constantly questioning my decisions, pondering the consequences of my actions, and genuinely caring about the fate of the Mojave and its inhabitants.

The open-world exploration in Fallout: New Vegas is nothing short of breathtaking. The developers have done an incredible job at creating a desolate yet vibrant environment. Whether I was venturing through the ruined city of New Vegas or stumbling upon a hidden vault buried in the sand, every corner of the map felt meticulously designed and brimming with secrets to uncover. The attention to detail, combined with the eerie atmosphere and hauntingly beautiful soundtrack, made every moment an adventure in itself.

The gameplay mechanics are well-refined and enjoyable, offering a perfect balance between intense combat and strategic decision-making. The V.A.T.S. system, which allows you to target specific body parts of your enemies, adds a tactical layer to the gunfights and makes each encounter feel unique. Additionally, the extensive weapon customization and the vast array of perks and skills to choose from provide a great sense of progression and personalization.

One aspect of Fallout: New Vegas that truly stood out to me was the sheer amount of content and replayability. The main questline alone is engrossing, but the game also offers countless side quests, faction-specific storylines, and hidden treasures that kept me coming back for more. Each playthrough feels distinct, as your choices and actions significantly shape the outcome of the game, making it highly replayable and ensuring that no two experiences are exactly the same.

Lastly, I must commend the modding community that has embraced Fallout: New Vegas. The availability of mods expands the game even further, allowing players to enhance graphics, introduce new quests, or customize gameplay to their liking. This support from the community is a testament to the game's longevity and the passionate fanbase it has cultivated over the years.

In conclusion, Fallout: New Vegas has been an absolute delight for me as a newcomer to the franchise. Its engaging storytelling, immersive world, satisfying gameplay, and remarkable replayability have left me eager to explore more of the Fallout universe. Whether you're new to the series like me or a long-time fan, I wholeheartedly recommend giving Fallout: New Vegas a chance. Prepare to lose yourself in a post-apocalyptic adventure like no other!

I haven't quite finished the DLC, I'm currently on the 3rd level out of the 4. So take my words with a grain of salt.
The DLC levels feel a lot harder than the base game. I got every achievement for the base game easy peasy on the hardest difficulty, but with these new DLC levels, I feel like they amped up the difficulty so much so that it's been taking me 30+ minutes per level.
It could very well be a skill issue and nothing I'm saying right now means anything, but it feels like this was made for the best of the best which unfortunately I might not be.
Anyways, Guess I best be hitting the Cleaning Manual before I come back to this game.

This game is very easy to get into, You don't have to be Einstein to get good at this game, so if you avoid these kinds of games typically because they make you think too hard, this one is worth giving a shot! Sure, Trial and error is a given, but once you get the hang of it the game is really fun!

The graphics are also really good, Very artsy and I think it's a big strong point of this game.
The writing is also pretty decent. I think the voice actors did a great job playing these characters and the characters themselves were enjoyable to watch. Some of the more emotional scenes fall just a little bit flat though, but the more comedic scenes make it easy to look past.

Only negative I can think of gameplay-wise, is there's a glitch if you fail a level too many times specific police officers might freeze up and will no longer react to your presence.

Overall I think this might be one of my favorite games as of late. Easily top 10 for game of the year in my book.

As a die-hard fan of Friday the 13th: The Game, I had high hopes for Dead by Daylight as another intense and thrilling asymmetrical horror experience. Unfortunately, after giving it a fair shot, I must say that this game is a huge letdown.

First off, the matchmaking in Dead by Daylight is an absolute f**king disaster. I can't count the number of times I've been stuck in ridiculously long queue times, only to end up in lopsided matches where the killer is either a god-tier player or a complete noob. It feels like the game has no clue how to balance its matches, leading to frustratingly unfair and unenjoyable gameplay.

Speaking of gameplay, let's talk about the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hitboxes. I don't know what kind of twisted joke the developers were playing, but getting hit or grabbed by the killer feels like a roll of the fking dice. You could be clearly out of range or behind an obstacle, and yet the game decides that you're still a valid target. It's infuriating and makes me question if the developers even playtested their own fking game.

And don't get me started on the perks and power imbalances. The survivors have a ridiculous amount of crutch perks that make them nearly impossible to catch, while the killers feel underpowered and lackluster in comparison. It's as if the developers want survivors to have an easy time while the killers struggle to even land a hit. The game is supposed to be a cat-and-mouse chase, not a one-sided slaughterfest.

Let's not forget the godawful optimization. Dead by Daylight runs like a f**king slideshow even on high-end systems. The frame drops, stutters, and lag spikes are enough to make you want to throw your computer out the window. It's like the developers didn't bother to optimize the game properly, leaving us with a mess that's more frustrating than it is scary.

Lastly, the lack of variety in maps and killers is downright disappointing. Compared to Friday the 13th: The Game, Dead by Daylight feels like a barren wasteland. The same generic maps and recycled killers over and over again quickly become stale and repetitive. Where's the creativity? Where's the sense of immersion? It's like the developers ran out of ideas after the first few updates and just decided to milk the player base for all they're worth.

Overall, Dead by Daylight is a f**king disappointment. It fails to deliver the intense and balanced horror experience that Friday the 13th: The Game nailed so well. From the broken matchmaking and wonky hitboxes to the unbalanced perks and lackluster optimization, this game is a hot mess. Save your money and stick with the superior alternative. Dead by Daylight, more like Dead on Arrival.
