I liked the game, don't get me wrong, but this game is just an -okay- experience. It doesn't really try to do anything big. My biggest issue with the game is that most of the levels only last 1-2 minutes, and have a super simple level design. This game feels like a step down from Generations. The boss battles end up being the longest levels...

The game's physics feel kind of odd, something just feels off. Sonic seems to be somewhat floaty. I found a lot of my deaths were due to having weird jump arcs that didn't line up right. Classic Sonic levels were not as snappy as they should be.

I would say the best part of the game is seeing characters come back and the avatar system. I enjoy character creators a lot, and with a ton of clothing choices, it is fun to mix and match. Seeing series favorite characters talk and interact was a nice addition for Sonic fans.

I would stay away if you really don't like the "Sonic Boost Formula" because this game honestly does it the worst. But if you really like Sonic I would go for it. Kind of wish there was an in the middle recommendation because this is where the game lies. Get it on a sale...

It's five minutes but it's free. It's a good game, Ricky and I enjoyed it. So that's a good sign.
