A cute, surprisingly polished, relaxing game with a soul-contenting philosophical message. The Perfect Days of gaming

Probably the ideal 4X Grand Strategy for me. It's rich in depth of story, scale and tactics. No two play-throughs feel anything alike. I learnt so much about political ideology and societal structure through this game. It is truly vast and fulfilling, with so much modded content and DLC (I'm serious, there's at least 4 whole games worth of DLC) that you will likely never see everything this has to offer. Not to mention the easter-eggs and nods to other sci-fi pop culture. It is impressive how much love the devs have put into this. My only gripe is the planetary combat and the absolute performance slowdown that happens in the endgame (during Crisis). That said, I haven't played over a year of patches, so a lot could have changed.

My favorite Space grand strategy

RTS without the micromanagement. It has so much depth of strategy and every unit can be spec'd in a way that can completely change their strengths/weaknesses and turn the tide of battle. An ingenious game with 100s of hours replayability, freedom and gratifying multiplayer. Lastly, all the mechs look cool and have great names too. Highly recommend this game!

Scratches a very good itch at the intersection of tower defense, base building and resource management. It has enough depth of mechanics, strategy and story (a surprise to me) to keep you hooked for a while. Reminiscent of They Are Billions, but better!

It's short but definitely very fun, polisedh, fairly strategic (albeit a bit rigid since all placements points are predetermined) and very affordable. Would recommend if you enjoy tower defense!

I have played it on and off since launch (~7 years). It is great strategic fun. I still crave some mechanics and the feel/vibe from XCOM:EW but this is a very good successor. Graphics are solid, runs decently well on new hardware, has great mechanics (minus the turn-timed missions imo), great DLC and has a thriving modding community to fill any holes. IMO this is limitless fun that you could play forever. Thanks Jake!

I supported PixelSprout through early crowdfunding and was ultimately left disappointed. Doesn't have the polish or depth as Stardew Valley , Story of Seasons, RuneFactory and is overall still incomplete (what a shocker). The art-style is fresh and actually pretty, but the UI is very clunky (I especially disliked the font choice for an otherwise pixel-art aesthetic). I can't rate this game positively as an avid fan of this genre. Disappointing and lacking :(

trumps Harvest Moon, Story of Seasons and Rune Factory in every way. Also mods.

One of the best RPG Open-world games I've ever played. 10/10
