What is this? Why are these controls so bad? Compared to other Lego games, this feels remarkably low budget and unpolished.

The base map already has some great off road courses. This map isn't different enough to me to be very fun. Something more interesting and creative should've been made for the second expansion. Like maybe some time travel back to the era of the Aztecs. Racing around in that.

This fool keeps getting in the way of my bullets. Not bad for two dollars.

An anime souls like with flashy looking combat that feels terrible to play. It’s slow. It’s sluggish. There is no feel to anything. Slamming a giant hammer into a small dog feels the same as poking it with a stick. Both do not stagger it, while a simple slap from it knocks you flat on your face forcing you to wait for your character to get up while getting hit. You attack in the direction you're facing and not towards your lock on target. Dodging throws you wildly into harm's way. Levels are boring and made of narrow zig zagg interconnected paths full of far too many groups of enemies. Coming in contact with level geometry stops you and requires you to get unstuck from it. Elevators require alt tabbing out and into the game to work. Game crashes regularly. Ultrawide needs to be modded in.

Sand surfing is fun, but this game otherwise looks and feels decidedly aged. The visuals are subpar. The combat is sluggish, imprecise, and boring. The story is not enticing in the slightest. The whole experience is very repetitive. Its draw is definitely the world traversal mechanic, but everything else is not compelling.
