Buggy as hell, but its still peak I'm afraid

When I first played this game, I did not like it; I couldn't wrap my head around why people thought hard = fun, but after a new playthrough with more focus on exploring the world, I can understand why so many people love this game. The world exploration is easily the best part of this game; all the secrets and items to find will keep you playing for hours and hours and making different builds with all the items you find is great as well. This game has great build variety, so you can create all sorts of different characters. My main complaint with this game (and the DLC) is that the boss design can be absolutely horrendous at times (mostly at the final areas of the game) and can definitely bring the whole experience down. Overall a pretty great game imo but def not the best of all time as people say

I'm loving this DLC, but the boss fights ruin it. It's like they took everything wrong with the base game and designed the DLC around that. Commander Gaius is easily one of the worst bosses EVER made in any game, and most of the other bosses are also contenders for that title, with all of them having insane damage and speed and the most unreadable attacks ever. Performance has been pretty good for me outside of a few areas where the framerate would drop to 30, but I don't doubt that it runs awful for other people since FromSoftware can't optimize a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game even if there was a bomb stapped to their chest. This DLC would be so close to perfect if they just rebalanced these braindead design bosses.

Giving this a thumbs down for the bosses since there is no middle ground. I would still recommend it.

It's fun for a while at first, but there just isn't enough content to keep you hooked for long, and updates take forever while adding very little content. Mods absolutely carry this game and can get you hours and hours of enjoyment that the base game can't. Game play also becomes insanely repetitive very fast, and there's no variety in your matches after a few hours. Once you've seen it once, you've seen it all. Thankfully, the game is only 10 dollars so you'll get your money's worth anyway.

Game is fun if you're rich and have about 5k to spend on any decent guns/armor... or you can cheat it all in like I did and have fun :)

Finally finished the game after years of trying to get into it. One of the greatest experiences ever

I remember playing this junk at launch and refunding after a few hours cuz of how bad it was, but now with the 2.0 update the game looks better, runs better, and plays better in every single way and it only took 3 years :D

Seems like a fun game but its art style just hurts my eyes and I feel nauseous after a while

The only survival game worth playing
