I felt like rewriting this because of what this album has become to me. With Wildlife, La Dispute have become that band that I like a few songs from to a staple in my collection. They've exceeded all expectations I had with this release; it's such a leap forward from "Somwhere In The River...". The stories that Jordan tells through his lyrics in this album are so diverse and carry so much more weight than previous records. The music has lost a bit of it's "metalcore" edge and in return they come up with beautifully written and often experimental instrumentals that create the perfect backdrop for the emotionally intense collection stories told in the lyrics That's what this album is, a collection of stories that I couldn't help but fall in love with.
