In this expansion pack to the amazing game Half Life, you play as the U.S Marine, Adrian Shepard. With the cool new alien race, Race X, you will battle your way through Black Mesa. This is better than most expansion packs (or really now DLCs) today. So if you are looking for an expansion in lore to the Half Life trilogy, this is the right place to look to.

I play this more than the original Half Life, and if you already have the original, there is no need to buy this one. For the nostalgia factor, the actual Half Life is better. However, I found myself playing this most of the time. The source engine drastically improves the physics. The ability to choose chapters is also great as now I can start at Power Up just to fight the boss. Totally worth the 10 dollars!

Basically Half Life but better graphically.

Have you ever wanted to see Half Life through the eyes of Barney? Well here it is, the second expansion pack to the world's first game in this amazing franchise, the Half Life trilogy. It might be short, but great things must come and go. To put it in simpler terms, this game is great to add on to the Half Life trilogy.

i cant believe its only $7.99 ($1.59 for autumn sale) this is such an amazing game.....and i know primal carnage extinction is out but this is just really good and really cheap so get it if you can (primal carnage extinction is probaly better)

This is a great and wonderful game. It's graphics still amaze me. The story might be even better than the original. The level design is really good and could teach other developers a thing or two. Just playing around with the console commands is very fun and the actual gameplay is astounding. The physics is better than most games today. I would love to experience it like I did for the first time again. Just...buy the game.

This game is the start to a great company, and a great franchise. Half Life was amazing at it's time, and still truely is. The game's story is amazing. The bosses are better than most bosses in todays games, their difficulty and not being able to actually fight them face to face, and instead do puzzles (except for the end-game bosses). I find myself playing the source version more, but this one is better for nostalgia. Anyways, buy it. This cheap masterpiece is better than most games today.
