Most boring, mundane, and repetitive game I have ever played.

I love it

If you played Boneworks before this like I did you're probably going to be disappointed. The lack of melee and lack of being able to climb everywhere make Boneworks a more enjoyable game. Still, Half Life Alyx is a great game and shows what VR can achieve.

Better than Minecraft

Bethesda really sucks as a company and should be punished for their sins to the gaming community. That being said, the game's fun for what it's worth. Mostly everybody who hates this game are the New Vegas elitists who hate every game other than Fallout New Vegas. This game is basically Fallout 4 but multiplayer. It took the best elements of Fallout 4 (Exploration) And took the worst elements out (Facial animations, NPC voice acting) until the wastelanders update. Before the update I would have given it a mixed review but now it's basically Fallout 4 but better.

TLDR: Fallout 4 but better and with multiplayer

Everybody says it's bad but this is totally worth it for it's price. It's cheaper than buying atoms on their own and you get a sick NCR Ranger uniform as well as a nice tent that looks better than anything I could ever build.

Possibly the best VR game so far. The physics is great, the gameplay is great, and even the story is at the very least decent. This is VR at it's full potential and I hope Half Life: Alyx is as good as this beautiful game.
