Edit Edit Edit: MW3 open beta came out today. You know, the play for free open beta, the lets suck you in to buy the game free open beta. Not actually free. Requires you to purchase MW3. Every single game news site, steam, blizard, all of them. They all say play for free for the next 2 days. For everyone. Just a flat out lie.

Edit: Edit: The game runs reliably now in August of 2023, its fun. Just wish we could see this at the release of a game. I wish studios would stop hiding behind beta launches and just do their own due diligence.
Edit: They finally fixed the main crashing issue so I can play through a handle full of matches in a row before a crash. So time for a full review.

The "game" is fun. Although so was Warzone 1. DMZ is a nice addition. A good way for a free player to mix it up.

Here is the problem. They once again released a completely unfinished "game". Some people use the excuse that because this "game" is free we should go easy on them. No. This was not some act of charity. This "game" is a cash cow. The amount of bugs that I have encountered in this "game" is hands down unacceptable. I am a QA engineer and have seen plenty of bad applications made in the day. But this one just about takes the cake. I will hold that title for an application that handed out personal information to end users like candy. Although with the quality of work I see in front of me, I will not be surprised if we have a fun news story about that here shortly.

This is an alpha copy/port of warzone 1 trying to pass as a full release sequel to the franchise.
Its a DLC level change from the "original" at best.

I can not guarantee the cause of their decision to release such a ♥♥♥♥ show. But speaking from experience I would be confident enough to bet money that no QA engineer or code writing developer signed off on this release. This comes from management. This comes from pushy executives.

There is no amount of patching that will redeem any company involved with creating this project. Its too little too late. Show us you can release a game everyone can enjoy from day one.

10/10 Will continue to crash and burn trying to "fly" with a steering wheel, 3 pedals, and a 6 speed just so I can continue to play this incredible game.

EDIT: The setup actually works fairly well now that I have head tracking. 7/10 for use of a steering wheel. Game still 10/10
