One of the best action RPGs ever made.

Genuinely funny, feels like an actual episode of South Park.

Make sure you mod back in the censored sections if you're in the EU or AUS.

It's less of a game and more of an interactive video. You have no agency over what unfolds in the game. If you try and deviate from the narrative the game wants to show you are told to follow the narrative.

Just watch a playthrough on youtube.

Bit late posting this, but personally I didn't find any enjoyment playing this. Played here for 7 hours and probably another 6 or 7 on GamePass (got this for free with a GPU). Each time I found myself trying to find the fun, and eventually gave up.
Also, what few quests I played were honestly some of the worst examples of writing/quest design I had ever experienced (Example: The quest on the holiday planet where the unknown ship is in orbit). The survey missions seem designed to waste the player's time, I can see no other purpose.

It got a bit weird after Paradox took over, but it's generally a really fun game.

Really hard to put this game down. Each fight leads into the next. Fast explosive action. I'm loving it.

Yes, I played this game for 50+ hours but that's because the map markers and collectibles triggered the ♥♥♥♥ out of my OCD and I found it hard to put it down even though I wasn't enjoying it. I have issues with the gameplay and technical elements of the game which I will outline below.

A very half-baked game. Performance is ass, one of the worst implementations of TAA (can't be turned off) that I've ever seen (ghosting everywhere, extreme blurred edges on objects, fuzzy faces). Tonnes of really obvious and repeatable glitches that QA testers would have noticed in a simple playthough (Jawa's bodies face a different way to their faces, arms and gear, many objects dont have their animations playing and are static). A lot of instances in the platforming sections where it looks like you can jump on a certain surface but you'll try and then fall through the level geometry. In conclusion could have used another few months in the oven and a little QA.

As for the gameplay itself, I much preferred the first game. The expanded hub world felt like an absolute chore to explore and generally the levels felt less tight which affected the pacing of the gameplay and story. Wish they kept the levels more focused like the original, this design philosophy lead to a lot of back tracking and tedious exploring. The story itself didn't grab me this time, I found myself not really getting engaged with the characters. The whole story hinges around getting to Tanalorr and the "High" republic which just didn't interest me in the slightest.

Don't get me wrong, it's not like there was no positive elements to be found. The Coruscant level is cool and there are some fun and interesting boss fights. The acting and all that is good but I felt like the actor's talents were wasted a bit on this game. I liked the varied lightsaber styles though, gives you a lot of customisation in how you play or approach encounters.

Overall, I would just recommend playing the first one. Much better experience in general. 6/10

Highly recommended! First RPG to suck me in completely since Oblivion.

Played about 40 hours on GamePass before buying it here.

The closest thing you'll get to DnD 5e mechanics in a CRPG. If you're a rules-lawyer and were disappointed with BG3's loose interpretation of the rules then this is the game for you. Just be sure to go into the settings and set everything you want to "authentic".

Story and presentation wise it's a little rough around the edges, but it's totally acceptable.

Try the Paladin Oath of Tiramar!
