5 years later and it's still bad. There is no game, all Crusader Kings 3 is, is a medium for badly written events. People compare this game to the Sims but even the Sims has more mechanical depth. Every single 'mechanic' in the game is just a conduit for more and more events, whose writing can only be described as drivel.

And where is Paradox focusing their attention?
Adding the Catholic Church? Catholic orders? Even a mention of the Catholic culture which permeated the Middle Ages? Any attempt at representing feudal realities? A law system? No, they're adding China, a needless map expansion that will make the game even wider and more bloated, making the lack of depth even more apparent. Have fun reading about how the emperor of China farted in front of the court eunuchs and how that resulted in +3 stress and -7 vassal opinion.
