i dont like tooting my own horn and crankin my own hog, nor do i like pushing up my nerd glasses, but i feel like i have to stand up against the people who didnt seem to understand what they were getting into. as someone who didnt use a single summon, this dlc is phenomenal. hear me out... i found only a singular boss to be simply unfair. somehow, against all odds, i managed to figure out like 97% of the boss' attacks overall, and have indeed confirmed that they are doable and NOT i repeat NOT unfair (with the exception of like one boss). this dlc, just like every other dlc in fromsoft's catalog, is MORE difficult than the base game, yet is still very much DOABLE and, dare i say, FAIR, at least in the exact same way the base game is. not every boss is 100% clean of course, but people have blown it way out of proportion then it actually deserves. i honestly think every boss in this dlc is REALLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥ good, with the exception of one in particular that even i would say was made difficult just for the sake of being difficult, even compared to all the other fights. i think people know which one i am talking about, and funnily enough, that same boss is the only one i had framerate issues with.

but anyways, i can only assume that people complaining about this dlc's difficulty must not have played many other games in the series/genre, and are therefore not used to how fromsoftware makes their stuff. YOU signed up for this. congrats, you made it all the way to Mohg! this gives you access to plenty of bosses that are HARDER than Mohg! that's the idea, at least. again, you signed up for it. btw im not trying to shame people for using summons or however they want to play the game, im shaming people for having the audacity to call fromsoft content "too hard" and giving it a downvote when in reality, you absolutely should've expected a great challenge and an even greater challenge with the dlc. i played everything in this dlc myself, i loved it. no summons, and i'd argue most the bosses are of higher quality than the base game. personally, some bosses were so fun to learn that i insisted on dying just so i could try and do it without getting hit (i overestimated myself, im not THAT good lol)

anyway im rambling now uhh yea good game i guess but bludborn is better im gonna go ♥♥♥♥ in the toilet or somethin also whats the deal with saint treena???

certainly the most "robust" and "mechanical" game about "robots" and "mechs" ever made. aside from maybe the 5 scarletrillion other armored core games, but who cares about those since this is obviously the best game in the series (i havent played the other games) a great introduction to the series as the entire plot revolves around the Fruit Punch Gatorade(TM) flavor and its effect on the human mind (dont you hate it when the mysterious juicy red substances gives you your very own Halo(TM) Cortana woman voice inside your head?)

on another note: i do appreciate the lack of accurate economy in this game; i sure do enjoy buying those sweet robust mechanical robot parts and downright orgasmic weaponry, and then selling them for exactly the same price i bought them for; it really makes you feel like your assembling your own Gundam(TM) figurine however you want and playing with your awesome toys that only boys would love (lie) (the protagonist could technically be a woman :flushed:)

this review sucks and this game is amazing and shouldve been nominated for goty but who cares
pls play this game if you HATE elden ring!!! (lie)

Better than the original in practically every way, staying true to that vision and feel that the game was trying to convey all those years ago. Not just with its beautiful graphics and more modern game design that Dead Space 2 introduced, but it also introduced completely new mechanics and interesting ideas that the team at Motive came up with, which somehow managed to make it even better than a game that was already considered a classic.
The addition of having Isaac actually talk was absolutely an improvement, because they ALSO managed to (generally) improve all the characters and their interactions with one another; so, technically, they low-key changed the story of the game, as well as putting in more effort to highlight the sinister lore that the OG only briefly touched upon, ultimately connecting it to the game's sequels more.
While I did just praise how they rewrote the characters, I will say however that there are a few key changes to some characters' interactions, dialogue, etc. that I personally didn't like as much as their OG counterparts. But, this is just personal, and is my only gripe with this remake.
At first, I also didn't like how they redesigned Isaac's face, but as it turns out, that's actually what Isaac's voice actor, Gunner Wright, looks like in real life, which is cool.

Anyways uhh after playing this I can confidently say that I really want a Dead Space 2 remake, even tho that game still looks and plays really great, but I'd still love if Motive kept going with this momentum and maybe even entirely reboot DS3?
Whatever, fantastic game please play it, even if you haven't played the OG, and then play the second game. Third game is alright I guess but hey at least it's not the callisto protocol

It's a 9.9/10 but not a 10/10 becuz it repeats bosses a lot and also the valiant gargoyles is a boss that exists and also i was expecting to have MUCH more philosophical debates with Alexander

however, everytime i think of "elden ring" i also think of "onion rings" so it's a 10/10 for sure

A roguelite that actually builds its story off of the fact that its a roguelite (live, die, get stronger, repeat), and it does so very cleverly. The usual game-y attributes of a game such as this actually make sense in the lore, and it's more than just a "keep dying until you beat the game," because beating the final boss one time is like beating the demo for this game. Out of the roguelikes out there, this is one of the VERY story/character focused ones, on top of having fun as "hell" gameplay, very memorable characters, incredible art, and bonus points for the soundtrack. Oh, and it also has a free dating simulator built inside of it.

Masterpiece of game design, absolutely original with a very believable world, and regardless if you're into the lore or not, the gameplay is definitely something else, that you'll want to try out. There's several ways to go about it, you can play through without killing anyone or you can kill each and every person who stands in your way, and what's cool as ♥♥♥♥ is that there's an innumerable amount of ways to do so, using all the crazy powers and game mechanics the game gives you to your advantage, just have fun with it. And, whether or not you complete the game causing mass havoc, or decide to be the more quiet type, it ultimately effects the outcome and ending of the game, suggesting replayability. Even without the endings in mind, the game still brings you back into it by making you rethink how you made your decisions and went about killing and/or progressing in your first playthrough.

Just about as great a game as DOOM 2016 if not better, as the combat has much improved with this and forces you to use your wide arsenal of both weapons and weapon MODS much more often and to the best of their abilities, not to mention many more mechanics regarding both the "grenades" of your arsenal and the movement. To sum it up somewhat, it definitely requires better thinking-skills as to how you're going to approach certain situations and enemies, and what situations you're currently in, such as running out of ammo, which is a LOT more frequent in this one, requiring much more frequent use of the chainsaw.

The biggest downside to this installment I'd say would be the immersion, which, quite frankly as the game it is, doesn't really matter. Anyway, the immersion of this game's campaign has much been broken and reduced, as the game has much more of the arcadey feel to it, third-person cutscenes, floating ♥♥♥♥ that doesn't make much sense realistically but rather it does as an arcade game, the stuff like that which I think is noteworthy to point out because of the previous installment, which definitely had a more serious, story-focused and "realistic" experience. Not to say this one isn't story-focused, this one definitely has a LOT of lore added onto it, although completely optional to pay any attention to.
Anyway, definitely give this a go (if you can run it) if you dig the combat from '2016, and wanna increase your epic gamer skills, bla bla bla, it's epic, worth every dollar.

Quality of a game right here. Absolute fun and chaos all the way through, and it's fluid as hell. Speaking of hell, you get to go there in this game, as if it wasn't obvious enough, so that's fun. Also pays a lot of tribute and respect to the original, so yeah, just great all around.
