If you like a Creative Zelda like Dog Game with Traditional Japanese Art then I recommend it. I've been playing this game since it came out on the PS2.

It's been a pretty long time when I heard this got announced for the Switch and PC and I decided to play through this game since the Achievements did caught my attention since I kept 100%ing the game a lot over the years. However...

Pros

• It's a decent remaster of the game, great for Nostalgia
  
• Ironically, it is a Parody game, but a really good one
  
• You can take your time with the game to find Collectables from the Sandbox City it has
  
• Gameplay is extremely good
  
• The Story is pretty wacky and can have some 4th wall breakers
  
• New Game +

Mid

• Most of the Music is there so RIP Heavenly Star
  
• No Motion Controls, this game really needs it on certain parts of the game and it's extremely fun that way
  
• Going from those Free Assassination Missions and failing one of them can be pretty annoying to go back n forth a lot.
  
• City Sandbox is pretty bone dry of all the stuff it can provide, it was really impressive at the time when it came out on the Wii
  
• For an Unsupported Game this does run on the Steam Deck well but you have to fiddle with the Control Orders to make the game work.
  
• Pet peeve, I hate the Tsubaki-MkII I know some people uses it but this Two Handed Beam Katana feels extremely off on Combo Plays. But at least it has nice Knockback.

Cons

• This game has by far the most bugs I have ever played I'll even list them off here
  
• Unobtainable Achievements by far there is only 3 Achievements that is clearly impossible to get due to a bug on the Numeric Value. One of those Achievements that is considered unobtainable have been solved, but it's a pain in the ass to do it. As I am writing this, I'm trying to get the one for the Bittersweet Difficulty Achievement, the one for Thunder Ryu and the Toilets do not seem to work. I just wonder who was those 1.5% of players that got it?
  
• Bad Button Prompts, some of them are showing Switch Controllers and there is a segment on the 4th Rank Match where it shows Nintendo Joy Cons
  
• The Baseball Free Mission does not work properly, good thing you can still get that Achievement!
  
• Partial Controller Support on a game that requires you to play with a Controller raises a Red Flag.
  
• Why the heck do I need to have an Online Connection play a SINGLE-PLAYER game?! At least the Switch Port lets you play offline!

Anyway the game itself is really good, but this is a pretty bad port, I would highly suggest to get it on Sale with a decent internet connection since it won't work Offline/On the Go then it's Switch Cousin. If you have a Switch, I would highly recommend getting it instead until this game is Fixed out.

For Final Scores if you do not give a flying F about the Achievements and the bugs, just overlook the Joycon Prompts, then it's a 7.5/10 if you do then it'll be a 5.5/10, especially with the Wifi

I only Recommended it because I really like the Game itself. But not exactly on this Platform from the issues. But hey this game's performances and quality are better on PC. I will change the review if they fixed the problems.

I'll make this simple and sweet, I really like this game and how it gave Issac a Voice and fixed out the Zero-G mechanic. I got the Classic Version of this game when I got my PS3 with it and honestly I'd played both versions. Buy the Classic one First and then play this game when your done. That's the best way I can say. I also recommend playing Dead Space 2 as well, avoid the 3rd one unless you got a friend.

Really love this game, I would recommend it to others if they wanted to have a really fun experience.

Baa

Alrighty so, I've been wanting to play this game ever since I watched some Vids that caught my attention and I bought the entire Dread X Collection Franchise. Decided to start with the First one and will continue onward to be a completionist~

I really love that it's a collection of Indie Horror Games and you have to basically go through it with some lores from the letters on the nightstand before playing the Game.

I do know these games are mostly experimental and glitches can sometimes happen.

To describe the games I'll list it out what I like and dislike about the games.

Summer Night
+ I really love how creative this game is for being an LCD Horror and this is the one that really got my attention to play first.
- The Final Part was underwhelming, I didn't see the monster in my first play through.

The Pay is Nice
+ Interesting take of a Resident Evil like Game with the Fixed Camera Angles and the Tank Controls with Bootleg Dr. Freeman.
- I didn't like the Math Puzzle.

Carthanc
+ Music and Sound with this game is really nice.
- This game is the most frustrating platformer I have ever played, I refused to play it again after all of the trial of errors of that 3rd level to climb up while the Holo Mummies chase you. This is the worst game from of this collection.

Mr. Bucket Told Me To
+ I like how creative this psychological horror is about a Castaway talking to objects as his only friends. With one of them out for revenge.
- There were moments where I had to figure out and maintain my energy meter because it's mostly try and search for the objects you needed to use.

Hand of Doom
+ Really love the 90s Retro PC Game look on this game.
- The Chanting can take a while to remember and you needed a guide to remember the one that you can sprint to destinations.

The Pony Factory
+ The Black and White Atmosphere with some colors like Red, Yellow, and Green on the lights is really good, this game actually scares me the most.
- The Difficulty can be annoying especially finding the Ammo and Medkits to progress.

Outsiders
+ I really like the Twist and how the game helps you a bit while you progress every time you die.
- Makes the Graphic Settings on my first run Laggy as hell and trying to lower down was an experience to make sure I can make it through. Toggle the Graphics and set it on low when you play it, trust me it's very annoying oh and that damn Corn Field part got me annoyed everytime!

Shatter
+ I like the music and the PSX Graphics with the game.
- Back Tracking and Navigating the place was a bit of a Chore.

Rotgut
+ Walking Sim.
- Really buggy. Game not scary.

Don't Go Out
+ Interesting Strategy Horror Game
- Extremely short, hard to figure out the gimmick after a few game overs.

If you want to play this Collection I would rather get this specific Collection on Sale for you to try it out for yourself. I really do like it but the newer Collections have it better for you to progress through. If you didn't buy any games from this franchise get the Dread XP Bundle, if you wanna save more money.

Also Best game is Summer Night and Worst game is Carthanc.

A Great Game but can be challenging

Race Cars are fun and so is jumping

Far Cry 1 is a very hidden gem of a game from it's noticeable sequels, and this game is very graphically great during the good ol' Xbox Era if you max the settings on it. You play as Jack Carver, and basically your secret agent GF persuaded you to the archipelago where the good ol' mad scientist plans to do world domination and create a special type of creature with a toxic chemical and you have to prevent that from happening.

Pros
-Graphics, it really is a very presenting game from 2004
-Environments, I mean that's one eye catching thing about this game is the environment
-Very good fps mechanic

Middle
-The Voice Acting, I mean it's kind of cheesy in a way but it's pretty impressive
-Variety of guns is okay
-The Vehicles are very touchy
-Really Difficult for Normal Mode, don't do Realistic difficulty, you'll die in two shots
-Decent amount of Game time

Cons
-The Enemy AI is by far very broken, and like all reviews they say, the enemies can shoot through walls
-The PS3/X360 versions are way better and I wished they made an update with that game, I even 100%'d that one really well when it came out in 2014
-No such thing as Stealth, it's very buggy
-Those Helicopters suck, once your spotted your done

If you want to get this game to have a complete collection and are a huge fan of the Far Cry Series, I would highly recommend getting it when it's on Sale or just go get Far Cry: Classic on the PS3 or Xbox360, if you're curious to play it, they really fixed all of the bugs with this game, I wonder if their's a mod that has the Remake's Mechanics and make it work? Let me know about it, playing this game on Vanilla was absolutely sadistic. Please remember to press ` and type in '\save_game 1' you're really gonna need it for being a Glass Cannon.

5/10, it was nostalgic

This game is pretty good, now at first when I started the game with the plot at the beginning, it felt like a huge twist where I thought Redfield was the antagonist of the game and you as Ethan Winters the faceless Blonde must face against whoever kidnapped your daughter against Lycans out all people to fight against within the village due to some sort of Ritual. And basically to me it felt like a slightly watered down FPS Version of RE4 with a Serious Tone. But I do enjoy it!

I made a guess in the plot, from what I assumed based on cover art and preview trailers I thought Chris was involved in a big situation and got infected with some Lycanthropy virus and was forced to kidnap Ethan's Daughter in order to turn back to normal. But nope it's all different, and I thought Lady Dimitrescu was the main villain that pulled all of the strings for this entire reason.

This game takes place after 3 years of RE7 where you survived Louisiana, And I sure hope you picked Mia to give her the Shot instead of Zoe Baker because that's canon now You return playing as Ethan and going through Witness Protection forcefully to live in Europe due to exposure of that Mold. Your wife, Mia, reading a Local Grimmlike Bedtime story, and at first I didn't expect the change of artstyle going from that to the actual game, plus it does foreshadow the plot pretty well. After putting your Daughter to sleep and having dinner, then suddenly your wife gets shot more times then Ethan gets. Getting taken away with your daughter kidnapped, then with a very nice ominous buildup of the game. where now you're at, THE VILLAGE!

At the first part of the game you learned that your daughter was here and like a Father who just got two of his fingers bitten off, he grabbed that Medical Juice like it's Monster Ultra Energy Zero and dashed off where to start learning about the whereabouts of the villagers, until they died off very quickly, so don't hold their hand for them, trust me you'll have a moment and move on like it's nothing. Plus you do learn more on the plot on how it started until you build up.

So when you progress further into the game, you get surprised by one of the antagonists and get easily hit, then and meeting all of them, which is the Big Tall MILF that everyone bought this game for, a very talkative Doll and the Shadow Lady that uses ventriloquism, The Village's God looks like about to cause some ♥♥♥♥, Innsmouth's #1 Fan, and Dante from DMC5. Apparently you're in trial and of course they're trying to sent ya to death, so now this is the main plot of the game you have to go through in their areas. Have fun!


Pros
-Alcina Dimiresu is the main reason why people bought this game
-Gameplay is really good
-Exploration of the Village to unlock some bonuses
-The Duke, he's literally my favorite character so far
-Mercenaries mode, you'll get that when you beat the game.
-At first, I thought this game was very Serious Game but apparently they made some witty jokes where every Resident Evil Fan loved back in the previous games, it's really good
-Really good Puzzles
-That Hand Gluing Scene, that was the best part in the game
-I love how Immersive the game's environment is, it's very pretty.

Middle
-The Lore is by far the best thing I enjoyed this game about, I just wished there was some more details about it.
-I think it's odd that some of the boss's areas are long and some that were short and you just moved on.
-The Plot of the Lycans feels like it's missing something, you know at first I thought Heisenberg was going to turn into one, but nope the true leader is just a side boss.
-Replayability is actually decent
-Photomode is a weird to put on here, especially we can just F12 it

Cons
-That Pushback thing is annoying, sometimes it works sometimes it don't
-This is my personal opinion, when I learned about the Cooking Mechanic, I just suddenly realized I sold a bunch of Meat to the Duke and you know I wished that popped up sooner or I wouldn't made the mistake of selling the meat!
-Around the later part of game the Village can be very Empty, Until some Puzzle event happens.
-At the final part of the game, where the final boss is at, I hope you noticed it but I tried to run but for some reason I couldn't run at all, I don't know if it's for build up or anything but if people want to speed through it, good luck trying to run


I think this game is pretty good to get, I enjoyed the plot of it, although I wished there was a bit more on a couple of bosses that needed more of a longer segment. It kinda bugs me that there's a cliffhanger but hopefully we'll see what would happen in the next few years.

What I would recommend for people who didn't purchase RE7 and 8 can get a special bundle for only $80. You basically save $52 and have all of the DLC for purchasing this, until a sale happens!
