Very clever game. I love the use of rhythm as a mechanism, and it's not a gimmick. Little tricks and twists are non stop. It's a relatively short game but very worth it.

Braid is a perfect example of how to take something good and make it better. The classic platformer has been around since before Super Mario Bros., and Number None has made their own wonderfully puzzling take on the genre. Braid will make you think in ways you would never expect. In each section of the game you play with time as you platform, and in each section there is a new obstacle/method to master. The story is intruiging as it is mysterious, the gameplay is smooth and intuitive, and the mechanics are mind-bending in the best way possible. Braid is a new take on an old classic and it deserves its spot as a treasure amidst Indie games. It may not provide the same experience that a AAA title may be able to achieve, but it more than makes up for any lack of fancy graphics and massive world with its creativity and uniqueness. Try out Braid if you want a challenge, just make sure you prepare to be surprised.

Bastion is an amazingly different type of RPG. Not quite shoot'em-up, more than just a script, Bastion brings a unique combat system to a beautiful world and story. Rucks, the famous (or infamous) narrator brings to life the colorful and mysterious world that slowly unfolds as you discover the truth behind the Calamity. The characters are interesting, the story is engaging, and the world is a joy to battle your way through. Bastion is one of my highest recommended single-player games. Play it once or as many times as you would like. Do you want to try and complete all the achievements? Master all the weapons? Maybe you want to tempt fate and incur the gods' wrath? Bastion is a magnificent showing of what Indie companies can produce. I eagerly await any new games Supergiant will release.

This is a wonderfully made MMO, designed to get you into the game and moving QUICK. It's fast paced and relatively mellow for a top down shooter (despite the constant bloodbath). It's odd. And yet, it's good. You'll die a lot, but even then you get the spoils of your great deeds!
Get ready to kill some monsters, deamons, and gods in this game. Good luck.
You'll want it.
