Consolfied and the bad kind of dumb. I was hoping for a good B movie kind of vibe and old school linear 3rd person pew pew, but this game is just dumb. Even on deep sale I think Ill still be returning it if I don't get too lazy. Constant jarring stutters with a 7900xt on any setting. Even if it ran well I'd still not be interested. Conbat is derpy and very much feels like a controller game but not like Dark Souls needs a controller but like just badly ported controls.

I lol'd when I looked at the DLC price of this game. Who the TF do you guys think you are? What game do you think you made Rebellion, GTA 7? It's a pew pew game that missed a great opportunity to be humors with its cliches 1 man army super soldier trope here to shoot Hitler in the testicles cause Merica. Where TF is the one liners? No light heart'd misogyny? Its 1940 its ok. Dudes a cardboard box. I've been playing these games for a decade now and I still don't know his name, and never will. Instead of introducing some zingers and having any self awareness Sniper Elite 5 tries to be smart, progressive, and is probably still defending Amber Heard. The strong, independent, don't need to man, black Irishman woman, sticking it to the Nazis in 1940s Shes got to have one hell of a back story so I propose whatever her name is to be the protagonist of the much anticipated Sniper Elite 6 too fast too furious.

I'm not even into card/deck builder games, but this one is very good. The game has such a high Steam rating for good reason. Cool aesthetic and a mode after you beat it with challenges that adds replay ability. A bit of a learning curve but nothing too bad. Most should have a handle of the mechanics in about an hour, give or take.

Had a stressful day? Kick back, relax, and trigger your fight or flight instinct without the option of flight. Propagation will engage your lizard brain, triggering more cortisol, and have you spinning faster and faster in real life. Add some bumps in the dark sounds and you got yourself a chill next gen experience that skipped this next gen generation to give us another Xbox or whatever.

Have patients and grab it for $20 and don't make it your first VR game. Nothing else really comes close to Half Life in VR so everything else will kind of suck.

Major missed opportunity with a great IP. Every mechanic just kind of sucks. Nothing is terrible but nothing is good either.

1. For instance: training before every fight is boring, repetitive, and a grind.
2. Fights tend to just have you spam defensive jabs. You can't reliable stun or knock out an opponent.
3. Multiplayer is dead but I can't imagine any good to come out of that even if you managed to get a game going.
4. Dodging works mostly with leaning into the opponents punch which is not intuitive every time, and rigid.
5. Bots are always crowding you and prefer to fight inside you than anywhere else. No escape from it most matches.
6. Movement is just plain derpy so gl getting away from that dude inside you...
7. Punch strength doesn't really matter, and combos don't always chain.
blah blah blah, I said I wouldn't write a lot and it's hard to not ♥♥♥♥♥ about the game.

I want to like it, and I'm sure you want to like it, but I'm betting you wont. As every other review said, just get Thrill of the Fight and wait for their sequel. Kung Fu Dragon Fist is another great fighting game is you must have something to punch.

Good game that will inevitably have a lot of modding. The game already has a fair bit of replay ability without them. If I had to have a complaint I don't understand why there are so many of these sandbox type games with minimal or no campaigns in VR. Why not just make levels when you have the combat, enemies, bosses, and art direction already down. Making some levels and just tossing in a "there's bad guys, get em" story seems too easy.
