BG3 is an absolute incredible experience and living, breathing proof that not every game needs to be a live-service, micro-transaction filled game of flashing neon lights and having reached a peak of 815k concurrent players in less than a week of release placing it at the 8th highest game of all time on steam proves that. Larian Studios are an incredible dev team that are truly devoted to making memorable and fulfilling experiences. Baldur's Gate 3 deserves an easy game of the year for 2023 and will hopefully set a precedent for making games full experiences for years to come.
