Got a good few nights of play out of the game last April and it was so good I had to stop playing so I could wait for more content so I could play it again once they released the story mission without having already done everything.
Coming back and I see there's been so many updates.
I really love this game. It's so much fun and I can't wait to see it keep getting better.
One of the best survival games in my library and that's my fav genre, so I have a lot of them.
Totally recommend.

This is an absolute hoot! It's a hilarious genre blender that takes us on a ridiculously cool adventure. Full of inside jokes and guest appearances. Man I laughed hard!

Probably the best game on Steam. If you like the idea of your own farm, romancing cute characters in your town, adventuring in mines, and collecting cute stuff to decorate your house with, plus workshop support, and just the best devs ever... Honestly, go get it. Full price is worth every penny. It's one of the best.

A legitimately fun little game where you run a medieval shoppe. There's no big story, nothing incredible in graphics. But it's charming, unique, fun, and tickles the part of me that just adores a bit of commerce mixed with a fun splash of vaporizing my enemies and decorating things the way I like.
Even at full price, you'll get at least the $1:1hr ratio I demand for a "Good purchase".
In one "playthrough" (playing til I was distracted with something else actually) I got nearly double that.
So definitely give it a go! Especially if you catch it on sale.

The single most fun inventory-management simulator I've ever played.
10/10 would shuffle my inventory around to carry that extra water bottle again.

I'm not a fan of the genre, but this really bored me to death.

People complaining can complain. This game is the best of the type I've ever played. This is 100% my favorite genre of games, survival builders. I have 7DTD, Minecraft, The Forest, Stranded Deep, Subnautica, you name it. I love them so much. This is hands-down the BEST in class.
Are there problems? Yes, it's an alpha.
Is it poorly optimized? Yeah, of course. It's not finished. Optimizing is sensible to do when the rest is done.
This game is beautiful, fun, and engaging. It's got issues like being grindy at points, but you know what? You can change settings to your liking. Seriously. If you don't like the vanilla experience, change it. You can set up a server any way you want. Mods? There're so many great mods. You can change your experience so many ways.
And when you get bored with The Island? There're two other big maps.
Holy crap.
Then there's Player made maps. And there are some GOOD ones.

This game has so many hours of play in it for me I feel like I've paid so little for those hours now. I got this on Humble Monthly. $12 for 163 hours and I'm just getting started.
Got Scorched Earth on sale for $6. I feel like I've made out like a bandit on this game.
$18 for this kind of game? Wow. It was worth every penny of the asking price.

You won't regret this one. Unless this isn't your kind of game.
Even if you think "Eh, dinos..." You're going to be surprised. My wifey was like "Eh... dinos are for killing." Now she loves her pet Trike Farah like her baby. She will murder anything that tries to hurt Farah. lol
Seriously, the dinos are way cooler than you think. When you get into the game and see how immense they feel... It's just... majestic.

It's a challenging, fun experience, the likes of which I've found few places elsewhere. GET IT. :D

If you like building games, management games, colony builders, etc, this is perfect.
It's got all the depth and spectacular complexity of Dwarf Fortress without the "a-z-x-d-x-b-t-h-f-a-s-a-z-a-t-g-d-b-d-x THERE! I built a chair!"
This game has everything I truly want in my favorite genre of games. You have the best survival scaling challenge system I've seen in a game like this. It can be easy, it can be brutal. It can be whatever you want.
The mod community is hot and hopping, and the dev is GREAT. He's really listening to the community and adding in great ideas.
There's plenty of reviews here that tell you what this game is all about, but I'm just going to add my voice to the chorus of voices screaming YES! Do it. You won't regret this. I almost never buy games at full price, and I got this one for me and my wifey because we just had to have it. It's TOO good. You will not regret!
