For a free indie game... yeah it's not the worst. But it's really just a waste of time.
I really really want to enjoy a simple little strategy game like this.
But it has zero depth and its actually just a good way to stress yourself out micro managing.
It doesn't make it clear at all what the next migration area will bring, so you're never prepared for challenges.
I just don't like it.
You're always struggling for fire.
I figured the upgrade to axes would help get firewood but you have to get the unlock to turn wood into more fire first.
Like...if my tribesmen don't know how to make wood burn to make fire... how are they making fire?
That's just kinda...silly.

I've played worse games for half an hour.... but not many.

Very fun game. Free to play but you can actually play without buying anything at all.
It's legitimately fun. Queue is SO fast.
You can play any character and have a blast.

But it doesn't lack the same issues as any other game of the type. You will run into ♥♥♥♥ teams, ♥♥♥♥ comps, and bad games. You will run into people talking ♥♥♥♥ and being jerks.
Turn off chat, have fun.
I hope they make the microtransactions less disgusting in the future.

Its really fun and it has a lot of potential. If the devs stick with it, I will feel very confident in their ability to produce a polished game that is worthy of hours and hours of your time. I already love it a lot. I think it should take longer to get to the point of ordering online so going around to stores lasts longer than the tutorial.
I NEED all keys to be rebindable for disability access.
Past that it's mostly great. I ran into a couple weirdnesses while using the planner but I think they'll get ironed out in time.
Remove the AI art placeholders and use real human art and I'll recommend it all day.
Going to recommend right now because the devs seemed confused when I mentioned the Ai art in the game, but if they don't end up removing it, I will have to come back and change my view.

Lately, I've held off buying a lot of games that look like I'd like them just because I've struggled to become engrossed in a game in a long time and never end up playing as much as I should to make it worth the cost.
Got this one on a whim in Summer Sale and so glad I did. First time in ages I've been sucked into a game this hard. I needed this. It's relaxing and fun, challenging but not overtuned so the difficulty is a joy and not a pain, and has plenty of content, but paces introducing elements so you're never overwhelmed. I really love it. And the cutscenes are fire.
Absolutely brilliant sense of humor. Poor Dave is put-upon by everyone and I hope he learns to set boundaries as his character arc.
Absolutely stan a protagonist with weight on him but he's capable and not just the but t of jokes. He's great. I love this. I want more!

My only hesitation for buying this game was whether it's just a sandbox or had any kind of gameplay element. I gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised it has a very cool mechanic with the different coins and getting random stuff out of the pot.
It's so cute and fun and relaxing. I've found myself playing for hours without noticing the time pass. I would recommend it heavily if you need a chill game to do creative building with and have fun without stress or timers.
Yet it's not a pure sandbox so there's still some strategies you can use to get what you want and it's honestly really engaging.

This is such a cute, cozy, fun, relaxing game with adorable art! I love having a creative outlet that doesn't matter or affect anything in my real life but feels like having a shop to run! Very fun concept! I love it because it makes me think about how it's like for Etsy sellers who do this exact thing on the daily! Even packing things like we get them in real life if we order stickers on Etsy. 10/10 would totally make all the cute animal and pride stickers in this game again!

No complaints. The Devs have been incredible and they put together a lovely game for a real steal of a price in my opinion. I'd have easily paid more. Fantastic game! Get it now!

Very fun, peaceful, relaxing little farming game. It's pretty much all you want from a game that is entirely about farming and decorating your farm. Very fun with friends, very easy to play together. I love it so much.

So far, this feels like a really crappy remake of the original game rather than an advancement in much of any way.
Yeah you can walk around the city but that's not really an improvement?
The game is weird to play. Everything feels very on-the-rails in a game where it'd really be fun to have more control over what you do.
The cards and emojis system for making videos feels like whack-a-mole to get the emojis lit up and you can't really feel like your character has a style or anything.
I like the customization options, but there's no option for nonbinary which of course always makes me a little sad even tho I don't really expect to see it. More, tho, there's no body types so you only have one note there. No rep for any other sizes.
Also, it's so silly that the game is named Youtuber's Life and there's people who are called Youtubers in it, but they decided to call the city "Newtube City" and the app "Newtube" like... which is it? lol You obviously got away with making the game called Youtuber's Life, so why can't you call the app Youtube? It's just a weird little detail that drags me out and makes me go "whuh?" lol
The dialogue often feels like it wasn't well translated too. I don't remember feeling that way in the first one, but maybe just don't remember.
This game also has the annoying aspect that I hate of everyone is mean to you for no real reason. All the npcs are either "Ugh, I don't know you, go away" or "I'm obviously hitting on you girl haaaa" and I don't really get the appeal. That said, the NPCs are pretty 1 note and lifeless. I don't like anyone so far at all. Even the people I was drawn to by their design initially just have the same "I am a jerk" attitude toward you.
So like "haha" there's a Ninja reference and such doesn't really do much for me when it turns out that you say hi, they're mean, then you take a pic with them and they suddenly like you more for some reason? But there's no dialogue choices you can make to make them like you more, it's just the same no matter what you say it seems. But you can snap a pic with them and they love that! Still rude to you tho.
Idk. I'm gonna play some more, but so far, sitting around 5/10 for a solid Meh and I can't strongly recommend it, especially at the asking price. I got it on sale and still feel like maybe I paid too much.

Huh. I thought I played this more hours than that. Probably thinking of how much I played the OG version.
This game is fun. If you have friends, it's fun together. If you don't have friends...the OG is fun too.
But mods. Workshop is awesome.
I found some aspects tedious or annoying.
But you can totally just play and have fun.
It's worth it at full price.

Fun squad shooter. Having fun going through the campaign with my partners. The action is nice and it's honestly pretty challenging even on standard difficulty. Lots of good progression. Very fun. Def worth the price. Got it through Humble Choice and it's even more worth it!
