Kingdom Come is the kind of game I've been waiting for for years. I was kind of getting tired of fantasy medieval games like Skyrim and Witcher, and going back to a more realistic type medieval game is really fun and refreshing.

The combat is fun and challenging. The setting is refreshing and beautiful to look at. Instead of it being set in the British isles or a completely made up land, like most medieval games are, it's set in a partially made up Czechian country in the Holy Roman Empire. The graphics are stunning and really puts the CryEngine to good use. The story is good. Instead of you being this hero that has to save the world, you're just a humble blacksmith apprentice whose parents were killed during a raid . What you wear, say and do in the game all has an effect on how people speak to you and treat you which I think is a really nice touch. Sometimes while on the road you might find random events like wayfarers, bandits, carcasses etc. which is always good fun.

There are some things that I think could've been done better. For example, to properly save you either need to sleep or drink Saviour Schnapps (Saviour Schnapps is very expensive and you only get 3 of them to start with). There is autosaving, but they are few and far between. Lockpicking is extremely difficult and to me the worst thing in the game. the reticle (the little dot in the middle of the screen) shows when you're walking about when you don't need it, but when you need it the most (like with archery) it disappears. Fighting on horseback is really hard as you can not hurt or knock people over by riding into them, as was the common technique cavalry used, you have to either slash at them or shoot them with your bow and arrow. But most of these things can be fixed with mods, and it seems like the developers are constantly pumping out patches to fix and improve the game. The game's already much better than it was at day one.

All in all this is a really great and fun game with a few hiccups but a ton of potential.

I liked the first 2.5 episodes, but after that everything just became tedious, boring and at times really annoying.

Freaking great. If you love the gameplay style and general atmosphere of Telltales' other story-drawn games you'll probably love this, even if you've never watched Game of Thrones. I haven't watched GoT before (the only knowledge of the show that I've picked up is through memes), and I could still keep up with the story and everything that was happening around it. Great characters, great voice acting, great atmosphere and setting. Basically, just great.

The only flaws that I could find was that the character dialogue sometimes got cut off for no reason. Also, I'd recommend buying it if it's on sale as I think that the price is pretty steep for a game that's almost 4 years old (as of the time of this review).

I really don't understand the negative reviews on this game. Sure it's not like Minecraft with all of the crafting and survival elements. But it's a Telltale game. They make games about story. And this game has a surprisingly good story.

I didn't at all expect for the story to be so good, especially because Minecraft's lore is so short and kind of lacking, which makes it hard for writers to build a story upon. But the writers did an exceptional job at not only using the little amount of material they had at their disposal, but also creating a whole new story with new things and items.

Gameplay wise I think it's felt great and was rather simple. At first it felt a bit weird because the only keys that you use are the left mouse button, Q, E, the arrow keys and WASD. That made it tricky in some situations when you had to switch back and forth between them, but the animation made it pretty clear as to when you were supposed to hit certain buttons a certain points.

The only real thing that I think they could've done better was the mouth movement and facial expressions. Sometimes the mouth and the expression just didn't match with what the characters were saying. And the pricing might be a bit too steep for some people, and if that's a problem pick it up when it's on sale.

Anyway, I highly recommend this game if you're into heavily story driven "choose your own adventure" styled games. Also buying the Adventure Pass DLC adds 4 more episodes that build upon where the last episode left off and they're really worth a buy. I'd also recommend picking up the second season as that game fixes most of the mouth and facial expression problems, and that game as a whole is just as good, if not better.

TL;DR: I really like this game buy it

This game is pretty great. Game physics and mechanics are really good and smooth. The levels are fun and challenging, although some of the actual challenges I think are a bit too hard. The art is as great as it was when I found the first games on Kongregate. The only minus I have about this game is the scheit ending.

Normal review:
A spectacular game with great gameplay and generally just a fun humor. I'm not even good at it and I die constantly but I'm still having a great time. I highly recommend this game for people who like high action gameplay and great humor.

If you love the dispatching part of This Is The Police then you're gonna love this game!

It's like This Is The Police's dispatching but it's much more detailed and challenging, AND you can download maps of cities from across the world and play on them instead of just one city. There's really only one issue I have with this game. The calls become pretty repetitive after some time. I've only played this game for about an hour and I've already heard the same guy talk about his stomach pain three times, and I've given him the same answer all of the times.

I don't play many puzzle platformers, but this is just an absolutely amazing and stunning game. It almost makes me proud of being Danish.

10/10 would Playdead again
