The Outer Worlds is not anything special. To be brief:
All the story choices boil down to: Ultra-Capitalist vs Work-Class, and in what world would you side with the ultra-capitalist? Never mind the morality, even in the game it is clearly pushing you toward one choice over the others.
I'm not sure how 'open world' this open world game actually is. Space is tricky to do right, I think the Outer Worlds has go at it, but once you explore a location, you realise how small it really is. There also isn't much in the way of places you can go which don't serve any purpose other than its own little around.

but:
The Companion are interesting, they have banter with each other on your ship. Your ships actually get decorated as you play the game.
The freedom is there even if the game doesn't really seem to want you to use it.
The ending is a real feel good.

I'm looking forward The Outer Worlds 2 even if there is a lot of unused potential.

This game is best played if you approach it the same way you would the movie.
The voice actor for Indiana Jones is good but his face animations are a little off sometimes.
You have to accept it is rather linear. The way you approach things has different ways but its boils down to fight everyone or stealth by but fighting everyone is difficult so really your only option is to stealth.
The other thing you have to do is suspend your disbelief. There is plenty of times characters who are needed appear but if you just accept that they are now there, you will have a lot more fun that way.
There is a lot of content, the end of game is a bit anti-climatic and the collectable reward sucks but I still recommend playing this game.

Early Access Review
Really good game for early access!

I think more people should let this game stand on its own two feet! For me, I love the ship upgradability.

I awake, as if in a dream, I look in the corner of my computer screen at the time. It is 12am. I conquered the entire European Continent. I cannot remember how I got here, nor can I remember booting up this video game.

All I know is that its 12am and I started playing at 6pm. This is the Hearts of Iron IV experience. It will eat away your life both physically and mentally, and soon you will be 85 years old with no wife or kids. Just you, alone at the computer...

This game has aged badly. I completed the story in 3 hours. Generic FPS.

If Hell was the last act of this game, then call me the Pope.

The story is really great but the combat has not aged well. Play on Easy. You'll thank me

Kind of a mid game ngl

EDIT: With all seriousness, the game is extremely vast, just not very deep. If I’m honest, it felt very boring.

Bioshock Infinite is a lot of people's first entry into the Bioshock series and many people look back on it fondly but I found it lacks a lot of features that the other's had.

The graphics in this game are really good for 2013 game and the combat is really good. Hard mode was actually hard. The ability to use Skyhooks made the game really elevated the gameplay. Under all the layers is still a very well done shooter. There are more weapons to choose from then the previous games but the tonics are lacking with only 8 in total.

The big issue when it comes Bioshock Infinite is the story. I won't go into too much detail because there are many videos on Youtube about it but most choices are binary and don't affect the story and the story itself is rather weak. At one point, Booker compares the revolutionaries to Comstock. He compared an oppressed group to the oppressor which doesn't make sense at all. One is fighting for their life and freedom and the other are oppressing what he sees them as inferior. It's just a lot of fence sitting.

Honestly, I see this game as sort of the beginning of the end for complex story telling in video games. Do i think it worth playing? Yes but i wouldn't say its story is memorable.

City of Ghost didn't hold me like the original game did. It lacks any new features and is extremely story heavy. Often while playing, I found the dialogue that is spoken between destinations ran longer then the time it took to travel creating a minute where I was waiting for my next objective and Camus was just talking. It made the conversation long and arduous. Character talk and talk and when someone stop talking someone else starts. There rarely time to explore and relax. Other than that, I still think this is a good game that explore many themes and tropes in a unique way.

What I will say about the developer is from what I understand, they read these review and respond to them, taking on the advice and tinkering with the game - I respect them a lot for doing that.
