This game is good enough that if they released a bundle that served no purpose other than supporting the devs, I would have bought it without issue. This is a game done right.

As a game in itself? Not really great, its really hard to get with because of the very finnicky physics. The playerbase that host or even play on servers is very small.The map selection is very slim, boasting an amazing 5 different maps which only three mainly get used. Most servers you cant even connect to, others you have a 50/50 chance of getting kicked for no reason, such as an easy misunderstanding on RP servers. I cant recommend this game to most people, and really isnt not a great game by itself. Its not worth the 15 dollars that it cost at the time of myself purchasing it. Get it on a sale, or wait until the price drops, assuming the playerbase isnt all the way dead by that time.

However, I will admit for a sandbox game you can build some neat things. The limit is really just the bricks, your imagination, and your PC. And I really cant stress the PC part enough. I have a very powerful computer and even my own computer sometimes cant handle this game on some creations. Most people cant handle a lot of bricks on this game, and multiplayer needs a lot of optimizations. But, this game is a great sandbox, that part they got right.

I played this game when it was in Alpha, before it became what it is now on steam. I love this game even still in its state, however trying to play the current build of the game is near impossible without the insane amounts of patroling AI going around structures. They will crash into the structure damaging themselves and you if you get infront of them (or even sitting completely still.) The patroling AI need to be able to actually see whats infront of them. At times when they crash into structures they dont try to move at all, they just sit there. The AI have no path finding whatsoever and eventually enough crash to make the structure look like a pin-cushion. I cant recommended the current build of the game until this is changed, all other aspects however I absolutely adore. This game is pretty well made for what it is, other than AI currently.

I have the recommended system requirements (And actually a better CPU than it wishes) and unfortunately cannot run it on the high setting as it states I should be able to. Tutorial lagged out badly meerling looking in a specific direction. Perhaps thats just my poorly maintained computer,

Solid game for its time, nice and challenging on the hardcore mode. I like it.

I have been around this game for years actually, I havent played in a while however for a multitude of reasons but one main one thats been keeping me away at the moment is their development efforts recently have honestly been going towards making DLCs rather than actual content for the game. Not to mention that some of this content for DLCs should already be in the game such as decorations, as actual decorations in the game have been lacking and you'd have to get creative for each thing you wanted to make, if you could. Weaponry in this game has also been lacking for years. Vehicle / Station / base or Vehicle / Vehicle combat has been the same for years as well, no new official weapons have been made for a while, nothing to adequately fit into giant "Capital class" ships beyond a bunch of tiny turrets that look puny on giant ships. Currently the main two weapons that everyone has ever used has always been the gatling gun and the rocket launchers, as well as their respective turrets. You can download mods to add weapons into the game, but the chance of them actually working depends and may vary, and the older ones that were actually nice and vanilla looking do not exist anymore beyond a few mod makers that have updated it personally. This game needs more overhauls in combat and decorations, not pay walls just to use a few blocks.

I have played this game and in the past played the earlier version. In my opinion, this has been the best game of it's kind. It is all around an amazing game. The only thing that I could see having some more overhaul in this game is the diplomacy. There isnt too much in the way of speaking with another nation, such as what you can do to improve relations rather than just giving them stuff for free. Other than that, I think the game is fantastic.
