Meh. 2024 Warframe/destiny, Clone from a scummy company. Probably fine to play this game as long as you don't get tricked into buying their Micro.

Quite honestly this is probably the most fun shooter game of the decade so far.

200+ hours in, and I Still can't find a reason to not get past the issues that these absolutely AMAZING dev's have handled with haste, an honest character that deserves praise, and being considerate to what the community wants.

The Games Gorgeous.
The beginning kits are a blast.
You feel rewarded.
There's a sense of progression that feels good.
There's a variety of different questlines that are each enjoyable and fun.
You can PVE, or PVP.
You can stealth, or you can go loud.
You can enjoy this game!

It encompasses and lends itself to a variety of different playstyles that are all entertaining, or in their own right, fun to do.

The biggest issue, currently, I don't even think is cheating.
Cheating happens in most online games. This game is not immune to it. What's notable about that topic is that the development team seems to be going above and beyond to defeat the issue, and be forthright about how they discuss it.
They deserve massive praise for this.
But if you take one single sample, of rot, and call it bad, and claim the whole thing as bad - you'd be massively incorrect to attribute that to the entirety of it.
Play more, and you'll hardly notice it. I've had several hour long sessions, having an absolute blast with friends, laughing and shooting, or finishing missions without seeing a cheater even once.
Othertimes, yeah, you drop in, you get insta-killed or otherwise cheated and it sucks - GG go next. Seriously. Don't sweat it.
The massive amount of value you will pull in from this game SIGNIFICANTLY outweighs whatever dumb stuff can happen due to rot.
I've noticed a huge decrease in the amount of cheating and exploitation lately, and am extremely pleased.
I definitely think this game has potential to be GOTY.

The biggest issue I see with this game, is that it's Niche.
It's in the bracket of hardcore, in the bracket of casual, and it will need too work twice as hard to consistently be better as a hybrid, than the other looter-shooter type games out there. In my opinion, it has already knocked the ball out of the park, and will continue soaring.

All I have is a grateful thank you to the development team, the community they foster, and the players I've enjoyed combat, or otherwise befriended.
This game is amazing, I enjoy it, and would Highly recommend it!

Edit As of 7/9/2022:

Honestly. I had really, really High hopes for this game.
Until they announce a compensation program for the cheating issue, I cannot recommend it.
This game has become so infested with cheaters that It's LITERALLY unplayable.
I've tried. Optimistically TRIED my ass off to fight through it, and keep a positive attitude about it but I just can't.
So many drops later, cheater after cheater after cheater has ruined my hopes for this game.
UNTIL they BRING COMPENSATION, and a better anti cheat to the game, I won't be playing it.
It's just not worth my time.
I've invested a lot of time now, and am truly sad that I'm saying this.
I did 20 drops for Oil Pumps, and for each and every one of them, I was stressed, and terrified I'd get cheated. For 20 oil pump drops I did, I got killed by cheaters 20 times.
i did a few more before I started counting, and had some decent returns on that.
once inbetween, I ran white gear with friends and was able to come out with oil.
But the fear of being cheated is too high right now.
This Cheating issue is absolutely absurd. You may not notice it in your first 100-200 drops,
but once you start locking in your evac-value at about the 20-40k range, you will start to get cheated every game.
People that can shoot you through walls,
people that can move bullets around cover,
people that can ESP and see you when you peak
people that can rapid fire you the moment you peak,
people that can hunt you down because they have unlimited stamina
people that can walk through walls because you did a jump they don't know how to do,
people that can just cheat, win, and ruin your day. OVER, and OVER, and OVER again.
Don't take my word for it. Look at the several thousand of other reports about it.
Check the discord, Reach out to community managers- they won't give you your stuff back.
They'll say we're working on it.
Too late. It's been a month since release guys. You knew it would be an issue, and you released the game without having a BETTER anticheat setup,
and a compensation program IN PLACE for when people got cheated.
You had Closed beta 2 to realize that cheating was going to be bad.
It's bad. You did some things to make it less so, But it came roaring back and is now worse than ever.
Fix it, and I'll change my review to a positive one. That's a promise :)

Edit as of 9/29/22:
I've played now all through the pre-season, and season one. I've invested significant hours into this game, and honestly. It's worth playing, even if you've payed for it. I have had more fun in this game than any other shooter game in the past 4-5 years to be honest.
It's got everything I want.
It's dealing with the issues it has.

As of season two,
There's significantly less cheaters, significantly less bugs, random holes,
And there's a Cheating compensation system.
They're putting in measures to deter that portion of societal scum and I think everything they do to do so is a step in the right direction.

They've made great progress with the biggest issue they've been confronted with, and They've made great progress in continuing to add new, and engaging content while delivering a balanced, fun and enjoyable experience to the community on all approaches. New, casual, hardcore, veterans, Everyone has something to enjoy in this.

Review is definitely positive at this point.

Honestly, The game is a nice combination of ship building, survival, and a few other mechanics. It's nice.
I really think that just about sums this game up in its current state, "it's nice"

It's not the kind of thing that you're going to say, "Oh my *** I absolutely can't wait to get home and play this!"
but it's something that when you've got nothing else to do, you might turn and say, "sure, why not."
And for $3.99 it's not priced unfairly for that, even though the developer is slower than a turtle trying to climb uphill on ice, in terms of working on this game.
That's not to say he's not trying.... it's just not apparent.

I recommend it as a quick grab, if you're looking to spend money on something else other than a beer tonight.

Absolutely Incredible gameplay with this one.
Hunt: Showdown defines a style of shooter that combines embracing familiar elements of; account progression and character progression, battle royale-esque match making, with a unique take on "wild-west" era weaponry.
Too many games now-adaysgive you a slight taste of what you want, but not the whole package, that is not the case with
H.S.

This game is a wonderful grab, Highly recommended, and worth every penny.

It's early access.
It's Free.
You get what you pay for here.

Zeal is an rp-arena pvp oriented game, which as of 10/8/2018 leads me to believe was created in 2002.

Everything is clunky.
From the graphics to the gameplay, there's nothing that doesn't fit exactly those three words.

Waste of an hour, save for exploration's sake. I hope to change this review in the future, however, this needs to be a hasty change on the dev side to keep any sort of stance in today's game-value world.

Playered KoL as a kid, as an adult WoL played me. 10.1/9.9

Great fun with ssarsrarraraparillarara, but there's really only one question that needs asking;

Got meat?

Hilarious, Good-fashioned, fun!
This game compels your inner "engineer?" to not only destroy towers and keeps.... but those damnable sheep.

A game worth buying, trying and/or playing!
