Cool game and all, but how about you stop milking your 16 year old engine?

If Grosjean and Maldonado had a child, that would be your average iRacing driver.

Early Access Review
First time as a squad leader feels like lying on your job application. Recommended, would cringe again.

We are slightly over a week after the release and Codies already managed to fix most of their problems with the bugs. A huge leap forward towards a flawless F1 experience. Amazing piece of work !

Pure F1 experience for a cheap price. 2014 was the first season featuring hybrid V6 engines which are used in F1 to this day and F1 2014 is the last last-gen Formula 1 licensed game by Codemasters making it the best choice if you have a thin wallet and a potato PC.

If you noticed the game on a sale and you are either struggling to pay the required amount of money or just looking down the comment section to see if it's worth it... BUY IT. Like a great person and an ultimate memelord once said: "JUST DO IT!". This is an RTS video game which main goal is to rule a growing space empire. The game is filled with content, it features real time combat (the unit limit is seriously high, so the battles are not only challenging and exciting but also huge and spectacular) which requires input from the player since you can manage every single ship on the battlefield separately, especially capital ships that will level up after gaining enough XP points and require the player to put some input in the direction of where the upgrade points go. However the game is not only focused on combat unlike the majority of other RTS games with such massive battles. While the battle is going on you can just zoom out and control your empire, send reinforcements or either start an another battle in a different spot. As I mentioned before, not only you have to fight and conquer, but also do research, gather resources, manage the planetary and orbital infrastructure of each planet you own, run a diplomacy between you and other players, give missions to factions or pirates, bribe pirates to strike empires other than yours and do other stuff that a space emperor would do. The point is, there is so much content, such a huge game world (if you feel like a single solar system of 30+ planets isn't enough for you, there is an option to play on a map based on several solar system each one with tens of planets ) with so many planets/sectors to rule and various ways of victory (diplomatic, total annihilation etc.) that it's hard to put everything into a smal steam review. Even though it is an RTS game, the matches can stay up to several hours or days as it is in Civilization V. It makes the game a fun multiplayer production with an option to host a multiplayer lobby and save the game progress so it can get loaded next time you want to play, that's why the game plays the best if you have friends who are willing to play it with you.
In a nutshell - it is a fun RTS game with many gameplay possibilities and a great multiplayer module. If you are a fan of RTS games you should definitely get it !

I hear a lot of complaints about the season pass system in this game and i can say that these are clear ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. This game is still developing, and unlike any other MMO's it doesn't require a subscription, it just offers you a season pass which is not really essential. Even though planet landing is indeed a game changing experience it is not really required to enjoy the vanilla game and it's features, the vanilla itself has 80% more content than Horizons. However Horizons is pretty empty right now but it's easilly understandable, it has a whole year of development ahead of it ! There is a lot of content to be added to it and devs are mostly going to focus on activities on the planets so these wont feel so empty and pointless anymore. It's still the same game you had been playing for over two years and you are still getting a huge butthurt because you got "scammed" by the developers because they released a season pass which is in fact an expansion pack. Expansion packs have been widely know for past years and have been introduced to many video games. Their price was usually the same as the vanilla price at the release, and I've never ever seen such a rage even over several expansion packs released over a period of two years. Elite Dangerous is a huge MMO project with a huge potential and I'm glad that they introduced the season pass system instead of some subscription ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. If you divide 34€ (the price of Horizons) by 12 months its roughly 2,8 € a month ! Find me an MMO that is not a P2W and has a subscription price at the same range. Horizons is marked as Early Access for a reason and you should treat it as an Early Access game. Stop this ♥♥♥♥-talking about getting scammed because thats what you signed up for when you bought the game !

How to create a bad game ? It's pretty simple. At first you have to get an inspiration. To find it, you will need a popular game. Cool ! You have selected Day Z ! Now, create a badly detailed terrain and add some villages which look almost exactly the same. Ok, now take all of the bugs that exist in Day Z and add them to the game. Well, we already have a bad looking glitched map ! Now it's time for some gameplay. Create a typical american character, put some badass clothes on him, make him muscular, add a cool face expression and steal all the animations from Fallout 3 just to make it look like cowshit. Don't forget that you have to let this guy shoot and wear some armor ! You just have to place deadly military weapons all over the map. Especially in supermarkets ! Everyone knows that a real supermarket should offer a good shotgun next to BBQ accesories. Now, when your character is able to run around with a submachine gun you have to place some targets. Exactly ! Spawn thousands of zombies which must be as glitched as the map is (it has to create a perfect composition) and make their corpses bulletproof. Good job ! Now your map is filled with supernatural people living after death who can't get killed after 2000 shots in the torso but they die after a punch in the face by a flashlight ! Now it's the time for the final spice, a cherry at the top of a cake ! It's time for a Pay 2 Win model. There is no such a thing that would make this game even worse, than a Pay 2 Win model. A market with dozens of overpowered weapons which you are able to buy for real money ! That's what we need ! Congratulations ! You've just made an another useless game ! Keep on going with such projects ! Community will appreciate the effort that you've put into this project !
