This game is fun if you're doing good at it. Otherwise it makes you wanna rip your hair out. It offers no support/real tutorial to new players and the toxic community offers no help either. Most people who purchase this game are people who watch youtubers play it, they get the idea that the game offers you the time of your life, but when you pop in, it all goes downhill. I'd imagine a good portion of players return the game before 2 hours because they can't understand the mechanics without the assistance of an experienced player, almost no experienced player is going to help them, they'll just kill them because, "sHoOtiNG nAkEDs iS fUN" So all the new players (who decided to keep the game) who could play and help reduce the toxicity of the community will immediately adapt to the, "kill on sight" sort of playstyle that so many have adapted to. Every year this games community gets worse and worse. I've been playing rust since legacy, I remember when there were villages of people who would all help each other and there was such a sense of community in the game. That's dead and gone by now. The game is NOT bad because of facepunch and the dev team, the game has it's bugs but it IS well made. It is bad because of the people that play it, the game rewards you for being ruthless, and that IS part of the game, but at some point, one asks the question, "isn't this just a little too much" Although I am writing a negative review, I will continue to play this game because I hate myself and I want to suffer. If you make the choice to purchase this game, expect to hear, "welcome to rust" and then the crack of a headshot to your dome.

I miss this game, I wish I would've played more of it.

I personally really enjoy this game, BUT, it needs ALOT of work and development still.
I am writing this review on 2/17/2019. The game is tons of fun and I really enjoy playing when it is working correctly, I've only played for about 50 hours and so far I've encountered more bugs, glitches and server problems than I can count. I'd happily give this game a positive review if some more work were to be done on it. EDIT : They fixed most of the problems

Amazing game with amazing potential, don't ♥♥♥♥ it up like DayZ did.

I haven't played much of fallout, but from what I did experience in fallout 3 and new Vegas (on console) was an amazing time. Fallout 4 had a very big name to live up to when you weigh in the time we waited, the hype we endured, the countless hours of YouTube videos decrypting the trailer, you can say it had some big shoes to fit into, I can't compre it to other fallout games but as a game in general.. It's pretty damn good, it's visually pleasing, it has a nice story, large map, hours and hours of game time, and the list goes on. I don't think Bethesda screwed up, it's like watch dogs where there was so much hype and what we got wasn't compared to what we thought, the game was fine... But our expectations were for great.

It is fun, But... The F2P name is not appropriate! With all the ingame purchases, you can barley do a thing without cash!
