Back in the year 2007, as a seven year old child, the only games I grew up on where on the GameCube. When I was first introduced to YouTube, I would often look up videos of my favorite video game at the time titled "Pikmin." I would watch Pikmin videos non-stop, as it was the only thing I could think about at the time. One day, I discovered a video that wasn't what I was expecting it to be. It was a video recorded in Garry's Mod, a game I never had seen before in my life, and it featured a Pikmin addon. After watching this wonderful video, I became very excited and curious about this discovery that I vividly remember asking my dad on how I could possibly obtain Gmod. Around the end of 2008, I finally created my Steam account, and my first purchase was the Counter Strike: Source & Garry's Mod pack for around $20.00 This bundle is no longer available on Steam as of right now.

I have so many fond memories of this game, and I'm still friends with some of the very first people I became friends with on steam to this day! The game is quite obviously different from back then. We couldn't easily obtain addons, the graphics and engine at the time were more reminiscent of Half Life 2, and it wasn't flooded with the cancerous Dark RP servers we have now, but the title still holds up today.

So yes, I recommend this to all new comers. As a veteran player, get it.
