By far the best RPG I've played, and the endless customization afforded by the extensive mod scene is the cherry on top.

Narratively, the story is simple, but deep and effective, and the slideshow cutscenes are actually pretty cool with full voice-over narration. Aside from the intro movie, nothing is rendered out-of-engine, either.

Even with sidequests, this game does a fantastic job of making it feel like your choices matter. While there's no sweeping gameworld changes, subtle changes like NPC dialogue, actions, even weapon effectiveness are changed based upon outcomes.

There's something for everyone here. Speedrunners, those looking for a long-haul they can get immersed in deeply, mod fanatics looking for thrills... it's all here. I would TOTALLY recommend the DLCs, too, ALL of them. Yes, even Dead Money. They all tie together really well, and add great context for much of the main game's story. No spoilers, but I was floored with each.

Just, this game's a ball, and super nostalgic for me. I cannot suggest it enough (If the thousand hours I've poured in aren't a dead giveaway, heh.)

The nostalgia, SO GOOD. I remember playing this when I was 6! Man, how the years change.

Pros:
The good ground infantry maps, like the old Geonosis and Kashyyyk maps.
Neutral teams. (Remember the Ewoks on the Endor map? Yep, good times.)
Vehicles on ground that don't feel underpowered.

Cons:
Less gamemodes.
Less AMOUNT of maps and no Space maps
Tusken Raiders.

Overall, it's one hell of a welcome blast of nostalgia, I'm so glad it's now here on Steam for those of us whose PS2s broke. Best ten bucks I've spent in a LONG while.

Holy crap, what can I say?

This game's a mess of good fun! As it LITERALLY RELEASES TOMORROW, judging by the test build, I'd say it's a grand view from it's peak! The bosses are each fun, rather challenging the first time, but fun. The ship system is gold, and crew mates are cool. The biomes are unique and full of generally weird but cool schmutz, and the small references to other things (like Fallout, Doom, and MLP) via vanity clothing is a perfect touch! The characters aren't as compacted as in similar games like Terraria and the NPCs do more then just sell stuff. Sure, the story's simple and there's no real reward besides braggin' rights after the finale, but I found it worth it!

Also, this is one of the VERY few games where I can play as a freakin' bird. That is my gold, man! My friend gifted me this game about a year ago, but I've been playing for about a month..... Shameful. BUT IT'S WORTH IT!!!! Thanks, Vallenoma. You've made my year!

Those bosses are fun! Beware the Mechanical stuff, however.....
